The Henry Menke family of Omaha were Sunday evening callers at the Walter Thimgan home. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Kuchn of Malcolm have purchased a home in Lincoln and will be moving soon. Mrs. Kuchn is the daugh ter of Will Riklis. Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Dickmeyer have purchased a new home in the outskirts of Omaha and they will be moving soon. Elmwood Pistons 4-H Club Reorganizes The Elmwood Pistons 4-H Tractor Club reorganized March 29 at Kerry Miller's home. The meeting was opened by the president, followed by the flag salute and singing. Roll call was answered by members telling what alterations they had made recently on a ready-made garment. Committee reports included the readi.ig of articles by Mrs. Clarence Engelkemeier, on Zon ing and The Tax Problem. Committees were appointed to buy gifts for hospitalized mem bers, and to prepare the Easter baskets for rest homes. A discussion on suggestions of the County Extenion Agent con cening participation in County Fair window display, as well as Christmas Workshop, led to ap propal by the club of both pro posals. The lesson "Altering Women's Ready Made Dresses" was pre sented by Mrs. Robert Berg man.! and Mrs. Herbert Mei singer. Two guests were present. A delicious lunch was served by the hostess. The LCPV also met at the home of Mrs. Harold Hudson.. Because of illness and bad roads there was a small attendance. The lesson, "Selecting Paints," was presented by Mrs. Wendell Hart. Mrs. Harry Kroeger who moved here recently from Her ma.i, was a guest. Visit in Murray Mr. and Mrs. John Nettle mann of Erie, Pa., visited at the home of Mrs. Margaret Brendel in Murray Saturday evening. John is a Murray native grad uated from PlaUsmouth High and attended the University of Nebraska.
