Those who came to the Stock home to see the new baby are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burgen, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Taylor on Thursday night. Mr. and Mrs. Brugen called again on Saturday evening. Mrs. Robert Miller and Cheryl of Lincoln-spent Saturday at tha Harlon Stock home while Mr. Miller attended a Continental meeting in Omaha for salesmen. Mr. and Mrs. Miller and daugh ter stayed overnight and were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Phillip Miller and son. Rev. and Mrs. Frank Aten of Omaha, Rev. and Mrs. Victor Sehwarz of Murray and Mr. and Mrs. David Baxter and boys were coffee guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bond and Ricky at Domingo Inn on Sunday evening following the revival meeting at j the Christian Church. Mr. and Mrs. David Wiles and Mr. Roy Wiles, Sr. took Mrs. Roy Wiles to the doctor on Saturday as she was suffering with a severe pain in her leg. The Christian Youth Fellow ship held a short meeting on Sunday night before the Revival meeting with Mr. and Mrs. David Baxter as sponsors, The CYF will attend the Rally at the Mur ray Christian Church on Sun day. Six or seven young people of the fellowship will attend the State CYF Convention in Beat rice on March 31-April 1. It is only open to 10tlj, 11th and 12th graders. j Mr. and Mrs. Gail Hoback, Dennis and Karen of Union were Sunday evening coffee gue;ts alter the revival meeting at the Chri.-tian Church at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Van Horn, Carol and John. Mrs. Van Horn served homemade ice cream and cake. Gaii and Ed ward went to high school at Union together years ago and they had a good visit about sencoimates. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wilson and family were Saturday evening card guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Althouse at Elmwood. Mr. and Mrs Wayne Wiles were Sunday morning guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Wiles. They called at the Wiies home again on Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Harmon and girls were Saturday after noon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Lauritzen and Alice. Mrs. Leo Christenscn and Mrs. Harry Potts accompanied Mr. ai d Mrs. Wilson Bickford to Lin coln on Thursday. They visited at the homes of Mrs. Jerry Joyce and Jerry and Mrs. James II'Tmance and children. Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Minford of Lincoln spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wiles. Mrs. Rasmus Lauritzen, Sr. was hostess to the Danish Ladies i Aid on Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Fred Rehmeier presided at the meeting. Richard Vogt Boys State Choice From Elmwood Richard Vogt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Vogt of Elm wood, and a Junior in the Elm wood High School, has been sel ected by American Legion Post 247 to represent Elmwood at Boys State this year. Richard has been on honor roll for three years, was class president during sophomore and junior years the He his He also held the office of secretary of the "E" Club. Richard has been active in extra curricular activities. He is a three year letterman in foot ball, and basketball and a two year letterman in track. Among his accomplishments are football All-Conference hon orable mention, sophomore year; football All-Conference first team, junior year, and football All-Stal e h o n o r a b 1 e mention, Junior year. Richard is a member of the EUB Church. John Fischer received v. or Eagle lews Oscar Mussman, treasurer, anil training, were not present for this week from Harry Linder at Loveland, Colo., and he has been quite ill recently, necessitating a doctor's attention and oxygen for his emphezema condition. However was some improved on date of letter and it is hoped he will continue to be more com fortable. They moved to Colo rado a few years ago, hoping to relieve the breathing tenseness of his illness. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Halvor sen and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Roderick Swartz of Eagle and. the Mines, sister and family, the Andrew Markham family of Fairbury, Nebr., were all dinner guests at the home of the ladies' brother, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Coatmans at Lincoln, Nebr., Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ketelhut, attended the 25th wedding anni versary of friends, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Keim, of Walton, at the home of the lattcr's daughter, (Wauneta) the Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hansens, at Lincoln, Sun day afternoon. The Keim's are well-known by the Eagle com munity. Mr. and Mrs. George Maurer sold their, property, and will move to Lincoln near their son and family, due to Mr. Maurer's illness, suffering with leukemia. John F.
