Mrs. Anna Kaffenberger
Funeral was Wednesday at
Sattler Funeral Home here for
Mrs. Anna Kaffenberger, 67, who
died Feb. 18 after a month's 111
iess. The Rev. James Stroh of St.
Paul's Evangelical and Re
formed Church officiated. Mrs.
Otto Pitz and Mrs. Edgar Mels
inger sang. Mrs. Ferdinand Nolte
was organist.
Flowerbearers were Mr. and
Mrs. Ardon Ruhmann.
Pallbearers were Vic to r
Stcehr, Verncr Kaffenberger,
Fred Kaffenberger Jr., James
Johnson, Gerald Keil and Elvin
Davis.
Burial was In Oak Hill Cem
etery. Mrs. Kaffenberger was born
Aug. 22, 1894, in Plattsmouth.
daughter of Jacob and Mary
Evers Henrich.
She was married April 26, 1916,
here to Michael Kaffenberger
who died Feb. 26, 1958.
A son, Henry Kaffenberger
survives along with three grand
sons; sisters Lena and Frances
Henrich, Platlmouth; brothers,
John of Phoenix, Ariz., and
Thomas of California. A sister,
Katie, preceded her in death.
She was an active member of
St. Paul's Evangelical and Re
formed Church and was Sunday
School Superintendent.

order with 16 members answer
ing roll call.
Wre are to go roller-skating -March
25 at Nebraska City, and
plan tag day March 10, to meet
at the home of Ronnie and Del
bert Puis. The covered dish
lunch will be at the Mynard
Church basement.
After the meeting David Krae
ger gave a demonstration.
Next meeting will be at My
nard. Mrs. Kraeger and David

Bridle Cr Saddle 4-H
Bridle and Saddle 4-H Club met
at the home of Lori Grosshans.
The meeting was opened by
giving the flag salute. Roll call
was answered by each member
giving the name of his or her
horse.
A demonstration on knoting
was given by Roland Terryberry.
Each member brought some
rope and tried tying different
knots.
A new member, Steven Gross
hans, joined.
Lunch was served by Mrs.
Grosshans.
Next meeting will be at the
home of Dennis Keil March 16.

Triple B 4-H club met at the
home of Fred Ulrich with all
members present. Roll call was

the club plans to make for use
at the County Fair.
A demonstration on the grub
cycle in cattle was given by
Fred Ulrich. Mrs. Ulrich serv
ed refreshmeents at the close
of the meeting.
