Assessment schedules must be in the County Assessor's office by March 1, 1962 in order to avoid the penalty. All persons between the ages of 21 and 60 must pay the Head Tax of $3.50, unless specifically exempt by law. In regard to the grain tax, the tenant is required to report the land lord's share of the grain, unless the landlord is active in production of the grain. The landlord to pay tax for his share. Tenants please have the number of bushels of grain for each landlord divided from the amount to be assessed to you, and the school district in which the grain was produced before you go to file your assessment. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Han sen's Christmas eve dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. John McClurg, Omaha; and the Hall Hansen family. Mrs. Hall Pollard was a dinner guest Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. Fulton Harris of Plattsmouth. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Stoll vis ited the Elmer Stoll home Tues day evening.
