Bailey Mr. and Mrs. Fred Martin and family attended a reunion of the Alley family Sunday at the Legion Hall in Ashland. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fox of Val ley were Sunday dinner guests at the John Fox home. Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Snodgrass of near Louisville, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Buell. Late Sunday afternoon Mr, and Mrs. Harold Buell went to Lincoln to spend the evening with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gade. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Miller, Stevle and Tommle of Platts mouth spent Saturday at the Bruce Sowards home. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Weston's Father's Day guests were, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Weston and Eu gene, Mrs. Charles Heler and Jimmy, Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Frederlcksen . of Norfolk, .. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Stransky of Memphis and Mr. and Mrs. Les ter Schultz and Kent of Wahoo. Mrs. Kenneth Ooff, Rhonda and Brian of Schuyler and Mrs. Melvin Bundy and Karen Sue of Gretna called on Mrs. Keith Weston Friday afternoon. Mrs. Earl Mansfield spent Monday afternoon visiting In Ashland with Mrs. Willa Weldon and her guests, Mrs. Mable Milam of Clifton Hill, Missouri and Mrs. Nellie Methany of Lin coln. Mr. and Mrs. Lyndall Wat son and boys called on Mr. and Mrs. Earl Mansfield Thursday evening, and the Mansfield's spent Father's Day with the Watson's. Thursday morning, Wallace McClelland and Mrs. Margaret Lehman called at the Mansfield home. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Jlpp and daughters spent Saturday eve ning and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Parks, v Callers during the week at the John Peterson home were, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bontz, Mrs. Fred Stickney, Mrs. W. E. Andrews, Mrs. E. M. Kuhl, Don Joern of Springfield and Will Joern of Council Bluffs. Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson attended Governor and Mrs. Frank Morrison's 25th wedding anniversary. Open house at the mansion, Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson called on Mrs. Roy L. Cochran at the Lincoln General Hospital. Mrs. Jack Reece and family and Mrs. Melvin Sturm drove to Sioux City Mon day to take Jimmy and Douglas Sturm home.. The boys have been spending the past week with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sturm. Mrs. Sturm and Mrs. Reece and family expect to return home Tuesday. Jim Sturm of Sioux City Is still In the hospital recovering from a lawnmower accident. His recov ery Is slow but good. He lost one toe. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stlckley, John and Scott were Tuesday evening callers on Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bowers. Mrs. Ray Bowers and Guy Stickney attended the funeral of Bert Cass at St. Edwards Satur day. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Bower and Jennie Sue of Lincoln spent Sat urday at the Ray Bower's home. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Pollard of Plalnvlew are staying at the Bower's home for the summer while Keith attends summer school at the University. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bower were Mr. and Mrs. Everett Bower and family and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Pollard and family. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Laughlln and sons spent Thursday in Lin coln with Mr. and Mrs. George Harris and family. Dinner guests at the Laughlln home on Tuesday were, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leikam of Worland, Wyoming, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leikam of Lincoln, and Mrs. George Harris and family. The Lau family reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Haase Sunday. Twenty-five were p r e s e nt, seven members and their fam ilies. The members were Mrs. Leonard Roeber, Mrs. Kenneth Roeber, Mrs. Floyd Benson, Mrs. Clyde Jones, Mrs. Clinton Jones, Mrs. Kenneth Livers and Mrs. Dewey Moore. Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. George Kraft of Manlcy, Mrs. Alma Heil of Louisville, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weishelt and family of Elm wood, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Probst of Syracuse, Mrs. Mary Lau, Anna and Ella of Murdock and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kupke. Jolly Feeders Plans Picnic The Jolly Mynard Feeders met at Terry Wiles' June 6 at 8 p.m. The meeting was opened by all reciting the flag salutes. The panel discussion scheduled for this meeting was cancelled, but will be held at a later meeting- There was a discussion held on the Judging Day the club holds during the summer. The club will hold a family pic nic July 16 at Stelnhart Park at Nebraska City at noon. Next meeting will be held at Richard Halth's home. Marilyn Vinduska, News reporter.
