Mr. and Mrs. Jim Perslnger of Louisville are parents of a son born Friday, June 9 at the Im manuel Hospital in Omaha. He weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and has been named Kenneth James. Mrs. Perslnger was the former Lois Addleman. Grand parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Addleman of Omaha and Mr'. and Mrs. Guy Perslnger of Cedar Creek. Great grandfa ther Is Harvey Addleman of Springfield. Mrs. Persinger and baby returned home Tuesday and her mother Mrs. Ray Ad dleman of Omaha Is staying with them. Mrs. Linus Massoth of Manley entered the Syracuse Commun ity hospital Thursday and un derwent surgery on Friday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Franke and Mary enter tained at a picnic dinner Sunday in their honor. John Crane is visiting with his brother in Norfolk. While there he will attend the wed ding of his nephew's daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Meisinger called at the Bruce Cook and George Schoreder homes near Plattsmouth Sunday evening. Worthman entered the Methodist hospital in Oma ha Sunday evening for observa tion and check-up.": Patrick Vaughn, 8 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Vaughn, had the misfortune to fall on the railroad tracks last Saturday and cut his head. He was taken to the doctor and eight stitches was required to close the wound. Mr. and Mrs. John Bogard visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Biggs and Joel in Kansas City, Mo., over the week end. Ingram visited Sunday afternoon and evening with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ward at Camp Kitaki near South Bend. Dudley Doebele On 'Guard' Duty FORT CARSON, Colo. Army National Guard Sgt. Dudley D. Doebele, 25, of Fort Morgan, Colo., is receiving two weeks of annual active duty training at Fort Carson, Colo. The training is scheduled to end June 25. Sergeant Doebele is a clerk in Service Battery of the 157th Artillery, an Army National Guard unit, in Fort Morgan. A 1953 graduate of Elmwood (Neb.) High School and a 1958 graduate of the University of Nebraska, he is regularly em ployed as a management trainee with the J. c. Penney CO. in ' Fort Morgan, Colo. Sergeant Doebele and his wife, ! While Eddy Boiler was start ing the tractor Tuesday, it kicked, throwing him to the ground. Eddy fell on his right arm breaking It. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Parks and Gene spent Sunday afternoon at the Ed Jipp home in Gretna. Earlier in the day Mr. Jipp had the middle finger of his right hand badly mashed while he was working with some heavy ma chinery. It had to be amputated at the first joint. Robert Farmer went to Grand Island Sunday to attend a com mittee meeting of the officers of the Nebraska Christian Young Adults. Roger Hammer accompained a group of F.F.A. boys and their teacher, Mr. Lyman Rehmeier, to Fullerton Wednesday to at tend an F.F.A. Camp. They re turned home Saturday.
