Elmer Hall re turned home Monday after .'pending the weekend at the home (if Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hall and f:imily at Manhattan, Kan. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Harriott, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Wendt, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Callaway and Faye and Dorothy Helm of Una r'iiln spent Sunday at the Jim Hall home. They attended the grad'iation exercises. Jim received a B.S. (lyrec. Carolyn is spending a few days at the home of her grandparents. Mrs. Meisinger Presents Recital In Omaha Sundav Students of Mrs. Arnold Mels inger presented a recital at the P a x t o n Hotel Ballroom in Omaha, Sundav evening. There were 23 students playing solos, also eroup numbers and several numbers by the 15 member and Council Bluffs. Members of the "Hapny Har monv Band" presented Mrs. Mclslneer with a oink and white carnation corsage. The "Double BB Polka Band" furnished music for dancing fol lowing the recital. Taenzler Tilson-Taenzler Wedding Rites June 4 at Mynard EUB Church Miss Karen Kay Tilson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alva dore Tilson, and Mr. Robert B. Taenzler, son of Reverend and Mrs. J. W. Taenzler, were mar ried June 4 at the Mynard Evan gelical United Brethern Church. The bridegroom's father, as sisted bv the host pastor Rev erend Melvin Shafer, officiated at the eight in the evening wed ding service, in the presence of the 250 guests. The church altar was decor ated with white peonies, where the bridegroom's twin sisters, Mary and Margaret Taenzler lighted the white tapers. Mrs. Roy Cole was organist, and also accompanied the solo ist Mrs. Hal McCaw. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was gowned, in floor length white satin with gored skirt. The empire bodice, scalloped at the neckline, had long sleeves ending In bridal Dcints over the hand. A bow bustle accented the back of the gown. Her fingertip veil of illu sion fell from a tiara studded with rjearls. She carried a white orchid on a white Bible. Her jewelry was a single strand of pearls, a gift of the bridegroom. Miss Tilson made her wedding gown. Nancy Tilson, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Bettv Taenz ler, sister of the bridegroom, and Mariorie Grosshans. They were attired in alike frocks of mint green silk organza. Each carried an arrangement of red roses and white carnations. Best man was Jake Taenzler, Jr. of Gleenwood, la., brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Grant Sawyer of Glen wood, la., Ronald Tilson, broth er of the bride. Terry Tilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tilson, was ringbear er. The bride's mother was at tired in a blue-green nylon dress with white accessories. The bridegroom's mother wore an orchid and white dress with white accessories. Each mother wore an orchid corsage. Following the wedding cere mony a reception was held In the church parlors. Pat Toman poured coffee. Laurel Ann Stoehr poured punch. The bride Groom's sister. Mrs. Richard Harold of Chicago, cut and served the cake. Presiding at the gift table were Mrs. Larry Vailery, Mrs. Fred Tilson and Carol Mover of Omaha. Elizabeth Yelick was at the euest book. For her wedding trip to Colo rado, the bride chose a blue cot ton dress with white lace trim, and white accessories. The bride is a Plattsmouth eraduate, attended one year at Westmar College, LeMars. Ia., and is a student nurse at Meth odist HnsDital, Omaha. Mr. Taenzler taught Junior Hieh in the Glenwood. Iowa School. He will attend college in Greeley, Colo. tils summer. "He attended the Plattsmouth Sfhools: i a graduate of the Glenwood Hieh School: attended Peru State Teachers College for four years where he received his BS Deeree in Education. Mike and his wife, Nanette have just moved from Denver, Colo, with their children, Mar garet, 12; Sharon, 6; and Patrick Dennis, 4. Mr. McGuire is employed as the South District Executive of the Covered Wagon Council, Boy Scouts of America. CORRECTION The date of birth of the late O. W. We elected officers, as follows: President. Pam Brookhouser; vice president, Karon Eaton; secretary, Connie Richards and treasurer, Patsy Schmidt. After a short meeting, refresh ments of cake and punch were served by the hostess. At the next meeting the girls will choose a recipe from a cook book, make it and serve it for their refreshments. McQuin Familv Has Colorado Guests Tuesday night and Wednesday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell McQuin and daughters were Mrs. Russell Schaefer and son, Lowell, of Mead, Colo. Mrs. Sch aefer is a sister of Mr. McQuin. Luncheon guests on Wednes day also included Mrs. Mitchell Rich and twin daughters, Irene and Iola of Union.
