A candle was lit for Mrs. Su therland, one for Mrs. Gerbel ing Christina Bucknell, Mrs. James Turner, Mrs. Wm. Borne meier, Mrs. Ray Fentiman. Installation of officers was conducted by. Rev. and Mrs. James Hansen have a new addition in their family since Lyndon Kirk came to live with them May 8, 1961. He weighed 8 lb. 3 oz. Lyndon has 2 brothers, Mickael and Pat rick, and a sister, Laurie. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Vogt wel-i corned a daughter, Susan Kay, into their home. She arrived May 11, 1961 and weighed 5 lb. 14 oz. Weekend guests at the Rev. Ebinger home were their son, rvin Ebinger and daughter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Mr. ajid Mr9. "Willis Farrington and fam ily of Omaha were Sunday visit ors at the Rev. Ebinger home. Mr. and Mrs. Alva Reed were dinner guests Saturday at the James Webb home in Lincoln. Mrs. Lentis Cox of Edgar, Nebr. was a weekend guest at the Alva Reed home. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Miller were Mother's Day guests of their son, Charles and Esther Miller in Lincoln. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Dann, an uncle and aunt of Lincoln. Community Kensington will meet with Augusta Robb, May 25. All ladies are invited. Bring a covered dish. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hill spent last week at Falls City at the home of their son Jim. Sunday afternoon their son Bob and family telephoned from Provo, Utah to helpp his folks enjoy Mother's Day. Fred Pratt who has been in the hospital In Lincoln for some time was able to return home last Saturday noon and is con valescing in a satisfactory way. He had undergone surgery. August Bornemeier was found in a coma in his home and tak en to hospital where he still re- j mains in a coma. He has been i in poor health for some time. Vacation Bible School begins May 22, 9:30 a.m. until June 2. Those children who will attend kindergarden in the fall to those thru the 7th grade are eligable.
