Richard Fiala entered St. Joseph's Hospital Tuesday of last week for treatment and will have surgery Tuesday. Mrs. Carl Laguzza of Omaha is staying witn Mrs. Fiala and the chil dren. Dian Corcoian, a niece, is spending this week with them. Mrs. Geo. Urwin and Mrs. Dan Thornton spent Thursday at the Jim Ingram home. Frank Wolf ot Lincoln visited Sunday at the Elmer Sprieck home. Good Friday' PJay v At Weeping Water WEEPING WATER (Special) The Congregational Church presented an adaptation of John Masetield's play. "Good Friday" at the church on Sunday eve ning with a good attendance. The events of Good Friday are set within the framework of the Triumphal Entry on Palm Sun day, and the Resurrection on Easter Morning; these were symbolised by "The Palm" and "The Holy City." There were six scenes In the play: Scene one, "The Choice Has Been Made: Scene two, "Pilate's Sentence;" S c e w three, "Washed Hands;" Scene four, "What is Truth?"; Scene five, "The Ninth Hour;" and Scene six, "The Passover Be gins." Taking part in the play were I. C. G. Campbell, Mrs. Clarence Noiris, W. N. Roberts, Joe Ben der, Arnold Detmer, Mrs. W. N. Boys Youth Group Formed Recent organizing of a girls youth group here was "so suc cessful that their enthusiasm bubbled over to the boys atten tion and they requested a youth club for boys," sponsoring wo men said. Mrs. Donald Aylor has be come sponsor with Mrs. Leonard Bashus as co-sponsor. The first meeting Friday was attended by 27 boys, ranging In age from 7 to 16. Because of age difference, the group has been divided so the older boys can have more ad vanced activities such as trips, fishing, baseball, camping, etc. Younger boys will have similar activities at their age levels. Attending were Dick Church, Bob Wither, Jim Mahan, David Rohlfs, Charles Shipley, John Hoschar, Ronald McShane, Don Hoschar, Jerry McShane, Char les Garrean, Dan Hoschar, Cal vin McDaniels, ill Burk, Tomny Aylor, Bobby Burns, Larry Bar nes, Ronald Barnes, Terry Bar nes, John Vanderveen, Bruce Brogard, Jeff Keen and Mark Bashus. Games included dollar-dollar, musical chairs, I took a trip, a spell down followed by a discus sion period. Prayer was conducted. Ruth Circle met Tuesday at the Methodist Church with 15 members present. The present officers were elected to serve another year. Steers weighing 1180 topped at $27.25; other steers and yearlings rang ed from $23.50-$26.50, plainer cattle $23 down, .Holsteins $19 $21. Choice heavy steers included 1503-pounders at $24. Fed hei fers scored $25.75, others $25 down. Cows sold steady to 25c high er, $14-$17, odd head $17.25, $17.50. A 3,200 stocker and feeder run sold steady to firm. Stock steers cashed at $24.50-$28.50, latter weighing 550; other replacement steers $21.50-$24. Light stock heifers hit $26.25. Steer and hei fer calves sold to $30.50.
