A devout communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Omaha. Mrs. Kvapil. before she frac tured a hip three years ago. was a very active member of the Ladies Sodality of the church and of the St. Ludmiia's society. In addition, she was also a mem ber of the Star of Nebraska Lodge No 4 of the Degree cf Honor in Plattsmouth. Mrs. James A. Baker, a daugh ter, returned with her family to Denver. Colo. Sunday morning and a son, Francis, is leaving for Hebron, early this week to re sume his teaching position. An other son, Joe. Jr.. will remain in Omaha with the father for an indefinite stay before departing for his home in Washington. D. C. John Dean Schreiner, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Schreiner of Plattsmouth is now employed as a pharmacist at he Rexail Drug Store in Nebraska City. Clyde Jackson is in Veterans Hospital in Omaha on 9th floor. Mr. Jackson has been a patient there for almost a month under soing observation and treatment. Faith Funeral services were held here at St. Luke's Episcopal Church Saturday morning for Mrs Helen Faith. 57. who died Wednesday at Clarkson Hos pital. Omaha, where she had been two weeks. She was born here April 8. 113. daughter of Edward and Agnes Koci Dor. at. She was married to Joseph C. Faith in 1927. He preceded her in death in 1347. Mrs. Faith lived since with her mother here. Dennis Hoback and Charles Cook sooke at the recent annual meeting of the Co-op Oil Com pany, the boys had received an all-expense tour to Kansas and Missouri to see the main plants cf the company. The boys attended Rooters Day at Nebraska City Feb. 1. Sixteen have been attending the adult classes conducted by the vocational ag teacher, Den nis Hruby. The class meets each Thursday evening at the ag building. Bob Schiichtemeier. a mem ber of the class recently attend ed the short course in welding at the ag college in Lincoln. Library News Frcm Louisville LOUISVILLE i Special i Dur ing December and January, 695 bocks were checked out and 52 bocks added to the shelves, at the Louisville Public Library. Twenty eight of the books added were donated and were adult reading. Twenty four new children's books were put on the shelves. New books have been ordered for the 12 to 16 age group and the eight to 12 age group. A few more books are being ordered for the five to eight age group and these should be on the shelves soon.
