John Fitter called at the Tom Tennant home Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Tennant, Omaha spent Tuesday at the Tom Tennant home. 'Mrs: John Wegener Visited he-r sister, Mrs. S. F. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Elliot of Plattsmouth called at the Elmer Sprleck home Saturday evening and then visited at the Otto Sprleck home. The Happy Helpers Club held their belated Christmas party Friday at the Glen Terryberry home with a dinner. Mrs. Maur ice Group and Sherry, Mrs. Forrest Engelkemier and Ther esa were among those to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johnson entertained Mr. and Mrs. John Van Vleit and family, Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Johnson and family of Nebraska city for New Year's dinner Monday. Kenneth Sjogren spent sever al days at the Elmer Sprieck home. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Greene and daughters, Patty and Marilyn of Storm Lake, Iowa, visited Friday and Saturday at the Maurice Group home except Marilyn who is a teacher in California and left early Satur day morning from Omaha. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Parcell, Elmwood, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Striker were guests at the Ervin Albert home New Year Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Mayfield returned home Saturday morn ing after spending Christmas with their daughter and family in Chicago. Saturday night they spent New Year's eve at the John Ranke home in Weeping Water and enjoyed an oyster supper. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Edward Howard and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Howard are, Grant Howard, Nancy, Karen and Stephen from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Mr. Charles Howard of Los Angeles, Calif'., Charles and Grant are both sons of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Howard. Cailers at the Ted Emmert residence on December 26, were Mr. and Mrs. Pete Printz of Al vo, Nebraska and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Baiters of Omaha. They all enjoyed a later dinner and spent the evening visiting. The Arley Keeton family has moved from Murray to Schu bert, Nebraska. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Crow and two sons of Denver, Colorado, will stop in Murray to visit Mr. Howard Hutchman.
