The trip was given by the; ; Murray State Bank, and we' I w t e accompanied by Mr. and j ; Mrs. Charles Boedeker. We left Omaha Nov. 27 by I plane and returned Nov. 2s) by Jet. While in Chicago we saw ; many interesting sights and were very busy, j On Sunday atternoon, Nov. 27, ! Mr. Boedeker and I attended a ; proieasional football game be : tween the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers. That evening we were taken out to dinner at a Danish restaurant and afterward we went to a stage show, "The Flower Drum Sonn." j On Monday, Nov. 23, we went i to the Livestock show and saw the judging of the Grand Cham i pion Steer. The finest meat ' animals in the world are found at this show. j That afternoon when we re I turned to downtown Chicago we : went through the Marshall Held Department Store, the largest store in Chicago. That evening we went to the Conrad Hilton Hotel for dinner, where we saw an ice review. Alter the ice review we went to the tcp ot the Prudential Life insurance building. This new 40-story building is one of the higher buildings in Chicago and overlooks the entire city. From three sides lights stretch ed out as far as the eye could see from the top of this build ing. The following day we left Chicago by jet tor Omaha. It took us exactly one hour to make the trip home by jet. We had a wonderful time in Chi cago and wish to thank the Murray State Bank for making it possible. In my opinion this is a very fitting goal for any 4-H member to set his sights on. Christmas Day.
