The plaque was for the instructors who taught in a specialized course in emergency first aid care at the College of Medicine. Solomon made the presentation on behalf of 82 persons who attended the 15 weekly meetings sponsored by the Reel Cross, Medical Education for National Defense Program, Omaha Fire Department Rescue Squad, the Omaha Chapter of the National Safety Council, the Omaha-Douglas County Civil Defense and Disaster Organization and the University Extension Service. The amount of medicine obtained on piescription is not at all important. The amount of CURE it delivers is of the utmost importance. A tiny cap sule of today's wonder drugs con tains more cure than tablespoonsful of yesteryear's medicines. MEASURE, therefore, the cost of prescribed medi cine not by the quantity, but by the QUALITY OF CURE and on that basis, it Is the biggest bargain of all time. Fred J. Feldhousen, Ph. G.
