Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Johansen went to Fort Collins, Colo, for the Thanksgiving holiday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wenzel, they were gone from Wednesday to Sunday. Mrs. Wenzel Is Mrs. Johansen's sister. On Thanksgiving Day Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Nelson went with Mr. and Mrs. Richards and Orvllle Sandy to Scotia, Nebr. to attend the wedding of LaVern Sandy and Karen Ita. LaVern is Ben Sandy's eldest son. They ate their Thanksgiving dinner at Orand Island enroute to Scotia. Mrs. John Maack's dinner guests on Thanksplving Day were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Maack and family and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Peterson and girls. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Stenberg were hosts to Mr. and Mrs Lawrence Stenberg and family and Mr. and. Mrs. Dick Buck master and sons of Council Bluffs and Mr. and Mrs. Ken neth Stenberg and Mrs. Marie Nelson and Ronnie for dinner and supper on Thanksgiving day. Mr. and Ms. John Fox had Thankseiving dinner in Lincoln with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Judds. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Buell and Raymond were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mick and cons in Lincoln. Mrs. Bert Allen of Waverly was also a guest. In the afternoon Harold and Ray mond Buell and Ralph Mick visited with Bert Allen at the Veteran's Hospital in Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Mansfield, Mrs. Samuel Metheny of Lincoln and Mr. and Mrs. Lyndall Wat son and sons had Thanksgiving dinner with Mrs. Willa Weldon. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Parks and Eugene were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Jipp and daughters in Gretna. Guests Thanksgiving Day at the Fred Stickney home were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Williams and Brad of Logan, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Burnham of Beloit, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. John R. Burnham and Steve of Omaha, Miss Mary Burnham of Lincoln, Miss Ethel Burnham of Sioux City, Iowa and Mr. J. G. W. Lewis of Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Sturm had as guests for dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sturm and chil dren of Sioux City, la., Mr. and Mrs. Jack Reece and family and Mrs. Oscar Reece. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Keiser and family had Thankseiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Farmer and family. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Weston and family went to Norfolk., to spend Thanksgiving day and overnight with Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Frederiksen. They came home by way of Schuyler and visited Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Goff and family. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Roeber and John and Merry Sue, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Roeber, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Roeber and sons, and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Stander, Gary and Diane of Louisville were Thanksgiving dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Mooney at Beatrice. Guests at the Geo. Barnman home Thanksgiving Day were Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Barnman, Jr. and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ben nett Barnman and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Darold Miller and family and Mrs. Phoebe Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Rau, Russell and Charles spent Thanksgiving Day with Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Rau. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Klipp I were Thanksgiving Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Timm, other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Don Deal and boys, Mr. and Mrs. James Carson and family, Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Klipp and family of Fairmont and Henry Fisser of Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bowers had 5 o'clock dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Grebe and Russell in Lincoln, Thanksgiving Day. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Cook and family and Mr. and Mrs. Law son Cook of Nebraska City, had Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Karl Hammer and family. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kupke had Thanksgiving dinner with her mother Mrs. Mary Lau In Mur dock, other guests were Miss Anna Lau, Miss Ella Lau and Mrs. Heil, in the afternoon they drove to Lincoln to visit with William Lau who has been ill. Mr. and Mrs. Sed Parks and children came Wednesday even ing for a visit with relatives and spent part of the time with Mrs. Bert Roger. Mrs. Roger and the Park's family had Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Dean Loofe and family. Mr. and Mrs. Sed Parks and family went home Saturday morning. Guests for Thanksgiving day with the Victor Miller family were Mr. and Mrs. Archie Mil ler of Alvo. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Brizzi of Omaha visited Sunday afternoon at the Harry Farmer home. Joyce Farmer spent the holi day weekend with her parents and brothers. Milton Box and John Taylor visited Mr. Lilienthal at the Lin coln General hospital Sunday evening. Mrs. A. W. Rau visited at the Leland Krecklow home in Lin coln last Monday and Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. George Barn man had dinner Saturday with Mrs. Mabelle Mayer. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Keller called on Mr. and Mrs. George Bornman Sunday afternoon. r. and Mrs. Glen Hillis and Mr. and Mrs. Junior Bailey of Fnrague called on Mr. and Mrs. Henry Klipp last Monday after noon. Mrs. Dwight Beetison called on Mrs. Marie Nelson Tuesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Moore spent all day Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Wiles and fami ly at Nehawka. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Wiles and son and their two grandchildren of Platts mouth visited there in the after noon. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rueter spent Friday afternoon at the Dewey Moore home. , Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Holmes called at the Martin Stenberg home Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Nels Stenberg were supper guests. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sturn and family returned to their home in Sioux City, Iowa, Thursday evening. They have been visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mel vin Sturn, and attending a Na tional Farm Conference in Oma ha. "Friday evening callers at the Carl Parks home were Mr. and Mrs. Sed Parks and daughter of Churdan, Iowa, and Mrs. Bert Roger. Weekend guests at the Ray Bower's home were Mr. and Mrs. Keith Pollard and family of Brunswick. Sunday evening guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ron ald Grebe and Russell and of Lincoln, Kay and Roy Jameson of Elsie and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stickney, John and Scott. There was a family dinner Sunday at the Victor Miller home to honor Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Erickson on their 4th Wed ding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Fleischmann and son Gary of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs, George Mink and son Georgie of Omaha, Geo. Erickson of PatMllon, M.r. and Mrs. Albert Erickscn of Waverly, Frank Mathis of Lincoln, Elmer Mathis of Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Emory McDowell of Roca, Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Cook of Elm- fwcod and Mr. and Mrs. Bill McGill of Waverly attended. Mrs. McGill was the flower girl at Erickson's wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lambert called on her uncle, M. A. Carl son of Waverly at the Bryan Memorial hospital. David Rueter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rueter was with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Rueter from Friday until Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Skinner were at Council Bluffs, Iowa Thursday with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bry ant. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Jipp and family were with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hanson, Mr. Jipp's sis ter, at Millard Thanksgiving Day. Jackie Jipp stayed with relatives at Papillion during the Thanksgiving vacation. Chip Dreamer was able to at tend school Monday morning for the first since his recent knee operation for removing a wire that had been in his knee since last summer from a lawn mower accident.
