Tritsch of Louisville was a visitor in Plattsmouth Wednesday to look after business affairs and meeting old time friends. Plattsmouth friends of Mrs. Jim Larson will be pleased to learn that she has returned to her home in Louisville after a t-lwrt stay in the Methodist hos pital in Omaha where she has been under treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Akeson of Lincoln were in the city Wednes day as guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Jameson. Mrs. V. W. Perry called on Miss Augusta Robb at Elmwood Monday afternoon. Mrs. Perry, Mrs. Henry Hild and Grace Liv ingston were touring the county in the interest of the Museum at l'latl.smouth. Mark, 12-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Younker this city, was brought home Wednes day frcm the Clarkson hospital by the Sattler ambulance. He is in a ca.st as result of injuries and will remain for several weeks until returned to the hospital to have the cast removed. John Iverson of Washington, D. C, who has been here for the past week on his annual go ose and duck shoot on the Mis souri river, departed today for his home in the national capital. He has been visiting his bro ther and sister and old school friends. John always makes the Journey to the old home town each year as ducks and geese start their southward flight. Mrs. Georgia Creamer enter ed St. Joseph Hospital in Oma ha Wednesday for observation and treatment. Mrs. Creamer has been ill at her home for a week. Mrs. Ronald Ofe of New York, here for the wedding of her bfo ther Saturday evening, became 111 at the Methodist Church while helping to prepare for the wedd ing. She was taken by Caldwell Linder Ambulance to the Meth odist Hospital, and Is now re cuperating at the home of her parents,- Mr. and Mrs. Verne Hutton. Mrs. W. E. Bayly returned home Saturday from the St. Jos eph Hospital in Omaha where she was taken a month ago fol lowing a break in her hip. Mrs. Bayly is in a walker now and is glad to be home. M r s. Hugo Heyn of Omaha visited Grace Livingston last week and on Sunday the ladies accompanied by Mrs. Willfam Frascr had dinner in Omaha. Miss Livingston only recently returned home from St. Louis, Mo., where she with her sister Mrs. Henry Hild, were visiting in the Gary Hild home. Rex Young, the auctioneer, has received from the Pontiac motor company, a handsome en graved trophy for his car on completing 100,000 safe miles of driving. Rex has been fortunate in traveling this long distance without serious accident or in jury. . . a Mrs. Anna Stoll has returned home from a two weeks trip to Seattle, Wash., where she was a guest of her son, George J. Stoll and wife. She was called there by the illness of the son, remain ing there while he underwent surgery for a leg operation. George is heme and is feeling fine. Mr. and Mrs. Art Uhe and Milton Uhe and Mrs. Mildred Konfrst of Glenwood were in Richfield, Ne'br., Sunday to at tend the golden wedding anni versary of their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Uhe. He is resting and able to be up some of the time but unable to carry on his usual duties. Mrs. Eleanor Nelson of Jack son, Mich., and Mrs. Alfred Doo ley, Jr. and Sandra Lynn of O maha were callers Tuesday at the Art Uhe home. Creed F. Harris, nestor of for mer coiinty officials, observed his 95th birthday Tuesday at Un ion where he is at this time stay ing with his daughter, Mrs. Lee Ferris. Mr. Harris is feeling fine for his advanced age and can look back' on many years life spent in' Cass county as a fine citizen and public servant. ior Mrs. Barbara o. Wagner, 38, who passed away in Omaha Sunday. Services were held at St. Joseph's church in Omaha at 9 a.m. and the body brought here lor the final rest. Mrs. Wagner is survived by sons, Albert, Omaha; George J. Seattle, Wash.; daughters, Mrs. Anna Mundt, Mrs. Tressa Witt mer, Mrs. Marie Wagner, Mrs. Sophia Murphy, Omaha; Mrs. Grace Bowling, Broken Bow; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, Fran cis Scheurer, Germany; sister, Mrs. Fannie Leibert, Buffalo, N. Y.; Mrs. Laverne Henning and Louis Wagner of this city are niece and nephew. Sattler Funeral Home of this city in charge of local arrangements. Burial was at Oak Hill ceme tery with Roy Cole, Carl Egen berger, Charles Janacek, James Newburn, W. P. O'Donnell and Dennis Smith as casket bearers. The Caldwell-Linder Funeral Home was in charge of arrang-ments.
