Mrs. Kel logg Is the former Charlene Bradley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bradley, a depot agent at Alvo at one time. The family Is at Lebanon, Kansas. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rosenow were afternoon guests and ate supper with Mr. and Mrs. Elm er Rosenow, Sunday evening. Mrs. Ada Kinney entertained her brother Howard Humphrey and a friend from Duluth, Min nesota Saturday. Mrs. Kinney had not seen her brother for a good many years. Mrs. Ada Kiney and Mrs. Edith Braun called on Mr. and Mrs. John Buck at Murdock Sun day afternoon. Also visited with Mr. Gilispie. Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Coatman and son of Holdredge were with Mrs. Coatman's sister and fam ily, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Boettner and family, Sunday. Mrs. Boet tner , Is recuperating from re cent surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Gartner and family of Unadilla were with Mrs.' Gartner's mother, Mrs. Esther Clark, Sunday. Mrs. Gartner and children at tended Church with Mrs. Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tomes Jr. of Plattsmouth were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sutton. Mrs. Frances Chase was with her sister and family, Mr. -and Mrs. Ralph Dreamer, Saturday. Her son Mike, went with a group of Cub Scouts on the tram trip to Minden, to tour the Pioneer Village. Mrs. Wayne Kinney and her mother, Mrs. Kyles from Green wood went to Iowa Saturday to visit a sister of Mrs. Kinney. They plan to stay until Tues day. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Kellogg spent the weekend with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Beckman at Columbus. outh Bend Mrs. Jess Fidlcr Mrs. Robert Wunderlich and children of Nehawka were Sun day evening visitors with the Bill Rosencrans family. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Dill en tertained the Jolly Fairlanders Extension Club ladies and their husbands at a pinochle party Saturday evening. High score went to Mrs. Lola Nelson, low score to Mrs. Fern Mansfield. Refreshments were served. Monday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Carnicle Sr. and family were, Mr. and Mrs. S: F. Morris of Wann and Mrs. Lulu Morris and daughter Doris of Gering. Miss Jean Anderson of Ashland was a weekend guest. Mmes. Edward Kelly, Bernard Dill, Bill Rosencrans, and B. E. Grady attended the bridal show er of Miss Judy Ledabrand Sat urday evening at the Methodist Church at Greenwood. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Richards were, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Marcoe of Omaha. Supper guests were Mr. and Mrs. Willis Richards of Ncbr. City. Misses Marlene Kolar of Lin coln and Janice Dill attended the Nebr. - Colo, football game at Boulder, Colo., Saturday . Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Wills of Omaha were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Fidler. Karen Livers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Livers, enter, tained six of her school friends at a slumber party at her home Friday evening. Those present were, Linda Kuhn, Terri and Glenda Ewing, Mary Lou Car nicle, Dorothy Huff and Alice Miner. Bill Carnicle of Ashland spent Sunday evening with his parents Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Carnicle. Mrs. Clyde Haswell of Murdock was a Tuesday visitor. MICE ASSIST ROBBERS London, England White mice helped two robbers loot a store in London. Police said the thieves walked into the store and released the mice. Girl Clerks fled screaming from the store. The thieves then gathered up $2,500 worth of goods and fled.
