Afternoon callers at the Van Horn home were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hollandsworth of Wabash and Mr. and Mrs. Al fred Block. Mrs. Vern Harter entertained at two tables of pinochle on Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Ethel Hermann won the high score prize and Mrs. Mary Thorns won the low score and traveling prizes. Mrs. E. E. Moore will en tertain the ladies this week. Mrs. Van Horn, Carol and Diane called on Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nickels and Velda en route home. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wiles, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Minford of Lincoln and Mr. and Mrs. Har old Rabess of Blair celebrated their wedding anniversaries on Sunday, September 18th in Lin coln at the Minford .home. The dinner and celebration is an an nual affair for the three couples. Mrs. Wildon Switzer, who broke her knee cap recently, had the cast removed Tuesday. I Rainbow Girls Installed at Weeping Water WEEPING WATER (Special) The Weeping Water Assembly No. 5, Order of Rainbow for Girls, held their installation of new officers and the celebration of their 15th anniversary on Tuesday evening In the Cass County Auditorium with around 200 attending. Following the incoming mar ch Helen Mather, Worthy Advis or, welcomed the guests. Special guests who were introduced were Mrs. Clarence Norris, Past Mother Advisor of Weeping Water, Sharon Stock, Grand Fidelity and Kay Alberts, Grand Confidential Observer; Mrs. Mi riam Doty, Mother Advisor of Springfield Assembly; Mrs. Ag nes Huhen, Mother Advisor of Benson Diana Assembly; Mri Richard Harmon and Mrs. Clar ence King, charter members of the Weeping Water Assembly. Janice Domingo read a history of the past 15 years of growth of the Weeping Water Assembly. Other guests were Mrs. Louis Crunk and children of Ogden, Kansas. Beverly Balfour broke her shoulder Sunday afternoon when she fell at her home. Mr. and Mrs. Beryl Hanson are the parents of a girl, born Sept. 14 at the Community Hos pital in Syracuse. The baby wei ghed 6 pounds and has been named Julie Kay. The maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thorns of Murdock and the paternal grandfather is Carl Hanson of Weeping Water. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Holt and Jack Holt of Omaha enjoyed a trip to Wyoming where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. George Kopf and family at Laramie and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Harris at Hawk Springs.
