Those attending from Omaha were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Williams and family, Mr. ar.d Mrs. Robert Williams and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Wil liams and family, Mr. and Mrs. Stamey Williams ard lamily, Mr. and Mrs. Art Williams, Jr., and family, Mr. and Mrs. Art Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Art Sprieck and three grandchildren Neil, Deena and Rodney Redden of this city motored to Littleton, Colorado last Thursday. They visited In the home of the Sprieck's daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Hirz. Denny and his wife Bev sent their regards to all their Plattsmouth friends, and are anticipating a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Jon Schuetz of this city later this month. Mrs. Hirz is planning a return trip to Piattsmouth with the Schuetz couple. Mr. and Mrs. Sprieck enjoyed a tour to Pike's Peak and Gar den of the Gods; while the chil dren enjoyed visiting the Den ver Zoo with Mr. and Mrs. Hirz. The Plattsmouth travelers re turned home Monday night. ENGAGEMENT Mr. and Mrs. Ray Henry of Plattsmouth an nounce the engagement of their daughter, Rae Mae, to David Lee Fulton, son Mr. and Mrs. V. A. Fulton of 861 Halloran Ave., Wood River, Illinois. A December wedding is planned. Miss Henry is a PJ57 graduate of Plattsmouth High School, and attended the University of Nebraska and Peru State Teachers College. Mr. Ful ton, who was graduated from East Alton-Wood River Community High School, attended Illinois Wesleyan University, where he was a member of Tail Kappa Epsilon. He was graduated from Ne braska S'ate Teachers' College, Peru in May with a bachelor of arts degree in education. Miss Henry and her fiance plan to traeh in the school svs,lem of Clarinda, Iowa this fall. Joe Krejci, one of the "greats" of PHS athletic history, has been with the faculty of the Elmhurst schools for a number of years. Mr. and Mrs. Walt Gleason returned home Tuesday night after a most enjoyable three weeks vacation. The couple visit ed friends and relatives in the Pacific Northwest and four Nat ional Parks. They traveled 5,000 miles on their trip, greatly en joying the beautiful scenery of that area. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Jenkins announce the arrival of a 2V2 month old son. He has been named Robert Keith. Robert Aldrich is at Veterans Hospital, 802 Southeast, for a check-up and possible surgery. He entered the hospital Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Roerbeck of Oakland, Calif., were here this week to visit with Mr. Roer beck's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bauer of south of the city. They report that Robert Ames, broth er of Mrs. Roerbeck, is now lo cated at Newport Beach, Calif., where he is connected with a large machine company, all are loinier residents here. D. T. Haley, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. DeWut Haley and family and Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Haley and family, were at Wichita, Kan., at the weekend. They were guests 01 Mrs. Patty Chrislip, granddaughter of D. 1. and sister of the Haley boys, lhe occasion was to greet the great granddaughter of Mr. Haley, Beverly Ann Chrislip. This was the first time the Plattsmouth people had the pleasure of greeting the new addition to the family circle. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rhodes and son, Martin, of Nemaha, were here Wednesday for a few hours enrout from Omaha to their home. The Rhodes family are former residents of this city. Billie Jo Marler spent Tues day and Wednesday with Pam Cherry at the home of Pam's grandparents in Weeping Water. The girls took in the Cass Coun ty Fair. Tashiro Isa from Toyko, Jap an, attending the University of Nebraska, was a visitor at the Cleo Baker home Sunday after noon and evening. Levviston Social Circle Meets The Lewiston Social Club met with Margaret Moore Aug. 9 with Mrs. Rollin Hansen as co-hostess. Eleven members answered roll call with four guests, Mrs. Robert Lewis, Mrs. George Ray. Mrs. Jerry Hertzfeld of Murray and Jessie Hester of Mississippi. Mrs. Fred Campbell led the devotiens and this month's lesson on "Health" in Nebraska was presented by Mrs. Ray Creamer. The September meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Harry Gobleman at Union. Mrs. Myrtle Rhoades of Dayton, Ohio, flew to Ferndale. Calif, last week. They attended funeral ser vices of Raymond Rhoades, 41, brother and son. Funeral ser vices were Aug. 5 at Ferndale. Raymond Rhoades, former Plattsmouth resident, died of a heart attack. He is survived by his wife Bess and five sons.
