Brother Drowns At Nebraska City Dale Marchand. 13, of Nebr aska City was drowned Sunday afternoon while fishing with companions. He is the brother of Mrs. Charles Atkin of 424 2 South 7th St., of Plattsmouth. No particulars are known at this time of the accident, as the sister is at Nebraska City with t lie family. IX A RUT! Dycus, 5, died at 5 a.m. this morning at Children's Memorial hospital at Omaha following a long period of ill health. Hy was a son of Raymond R. and Joyce Lindley Dycus and was born at Patrick Air base, Florida, August 22, 1954. Surviving are parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dycus, brother, Warren, sisters, Pamela and Monica, all of Offutt Air Base. Funeral on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Offutt Air Base chapel, Air Base chaplain officiating. Burial at Offutt cemetery. The casket will lie in state at the base chapel from 1 p.m. Wednesday to service time. Caldwell-Linder funeral home in charge of arrangements. Funeral of Miss Theresa Rauth Miss Theresa Rauth, 68, mem ber of a prominent family of central Cass county, died at Valparaiso, Friday. .Funeral services were held today at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's church at Manley with burial at St. Pat rick's cemetery. G. Todd. Bishop Ivan Lee Holt conduct ed the morning devotions and the Speaker for the afternoton session was Mrs. Charles W. Mead who talked on "Let There Be Light:" Obituary Mrs. Alice Wood WEEPING WATER (Special) Fransina Alice Miller; daugh ter of David W. and Mary J. Miller was born Jan. 18, 1873, on a farm near Weeping Water. She died April 5 at the age of 87. December 14, 1393, she was married to Charles F. Wood and the couple had five children. Three of the children preceded her in death, Clark, Clara and Mary Edna, as did her husband, Charles. She spent all her life in Cass County, much of it on a farm near Elmwood or in the grocery store there. Since 1945, she lived In Weeping Water, the last 18 months at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Wood, where she was bedfast. She is survived by two sons. Stanley H. of Weeping Water and Walter C. of Osceola, Mo.; a brother, Rev. Manson Miller of Lincoln; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral was April 9 at the Christian Church in Elmwood with Rev. Victor Schwarz and Rev. I. C. G. Campbell officiat ing. Mrs. Chester Irons and Mrs. Ralph Creamer sang accompan ied by Mrs. S. H. Harmon. Pallbearers were Murray Mut ter, Lloyd Lane, Clarence Nor ris, Jesse Holka, Alva Reid and Clark Gonzales. Burial was in the Elmwood! Cemetrey with the Hobson Fun-' era! Fischer, John Vickers, Edward Muen chau and Arthur Adams. Mrs. Clinton Westlake was hostess for the Eagle Kensing ton luncheon at her home on Wednesday. The Tri-County 4-H Club met at Carol Sobata's home, Pauline Schildt gave a demonstration on making an Angel Food Cake. There was discussion of the new club book on Gardening.
