April 18, 1960. Obituary Mary Catherine Westfall EAGLE Mary Catherine Westfall, daughter of Fred and Marfe Westfall, was born Nov. 18, 1888, at Fremont. She died April 6, at a Lincoln Hospital after an illness of nearly two years. She spent her childhood In Fremont until the family was orphaned. Her adult life was spent in Michigan, Oliio, Calif ornia and Oregon. Three years ago she moved to Eagle, Nebraska to make her home with her brother, William Westfall. She remained there until going to the hospital, She is survived by her brother William (now of Ashland, a sis ter, Mrs. Minnie Taylor of La Grande, Ore. There are also 12 nieces and nephews. Funeral was at Marcy Fun eral Home April 9 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Donald Webster, of ficiating, Lloyd Edwards sang and Mrs. Warren Robinson was organist. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery, Fremont. Chapter at Nehawka Marks FHA Week NEHAWKA (Special) The Nehawka Future Homemakers of America recognized FHA Week with posters and a food sale, by wearing their F.H.A. pins and clothes of red and white, the FHA colors. At their regular meeting their topic was Youth Can Do. Cheryl Weik, Thelma Ketelhut and Bonita Lacy gave a report of the state convention held in Lincoln. Mrs. John Chandler spoke on What Girls Can Do; Thelma Ketelhut spoke on What Youth Are Doing in Church Through the Methodist Youth Fellowship; Sandra Stapert gave a report on Youth in 4-H.
