Air Base Honors Louisville Woman OFFUTT AFB Mrs. Shirley Sheehan of Louisville was pre sented with a cash award which accompanied the Sustained Sup erior Performance Award she received for the period June 1 to Dec. 1, 1959. Major Raymond A. Day, Commander of the 1911th Airways and Air Communica tioins Squadron made the pre sentation. Mrs. Sheehan, who has been secretary to the Commander of the 1911th Airways and Air Com munications Squadron for over four years, earned this award by exceeding required standards in each phase of her job. Allbee Held at Clenwood Saturday Old Plattsmouth friends will regret to learn of the death of W. P. Allbee, 76, at Glenwood, la., where he has made his home in recent years. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Ray-nor-Hamilton chapel in that city with interment at that place. Mr. Allbee came to this city in 1936 and made this his home for several years before return ing to the Iowa City. He served for several years as police mag istrate at Glenwood. Rev. Mueller Accepts Call to Colorado LOUISVILLE (Special) The Rev. Lyle Mueller, pastor of the Immanuel Lutheran church, southwest of Louisville, has ac cepted a call to a Lutheran chur ch at Greeley, Colo. Rev. Mueller has been in the Louisville church for the past three and one-half years and has made a great many friends who regret to see him leave but they all wish him well in his new and much larger church. He plans to leave with his family in about three weeks. 42 Jobs Filled By State Office Plattsmouth and Cass County activities of the State Employ ment Service Office in January included 42 jobs filled of which 12 were agricultural, 30 new nonfarm job openings received, 36 persons referred to nonagri cultural job opportunities, 162 new applications for work and 361 visits to the office.
