Attends Funeral of Cousin at Auburn Mrs. James Brennan of this city was at Auburn today where she attended the funeral of a cousin, Mrs. Lelia Garrett. Mrs. Garrett died Monday at the Uni versity hospital at Omaha here she has been a patient for some time. She is survived by the hus band, two sons, one of whom is in the armed service in Japan. 'Guilty' Plea to Vagrancy Charge Robert G. Regnier, 34, Ana conda, Mont, pleaded guilty to "Vagrancy" Wednesday after noon and was senteneced to 15 days in the County Jail. Regnier was arrested Tuesday afternoon by Deputy Sheriff Joe Kruntoard in Plattsmouth after Regnier attempted to cash four stolen $25 War Bonds. The Helena, Mont, sheriff's of fice advised Sheriff Tom Solo man here that Regnier has a long criminal record in Montana. Art Williams Dies At Hillcrcst Home Art Williams, 65, resident at the Hillcrest nursing home west of this city, died Wednesday af ter an illness that has covered several years. He was born October 8, 1894 at Omaha, son of Henry and Eliz abeth Brooks Williams. Mr. Williams formerly resid ed at Hollredge, Neb. where he was engaged as an auto parts salesman. He came to Platts mouth in 1955. He was never married and has no immediate relatives surviv ing. Funeral services will be Fri day at 2 p.m. at the Caldwell Llnder chapel, Rev. A. L. Em bree of the First Methodist chur ch officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill cemetery. Caldwell-Linder funeral home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Minnie Fitt Dies At Los Angeles Word has been received by Mrs. Monte Franks of Omaha of the death of Mrs. Minnie Fitt, January 23 at the age of eighty years. She was born and reared in Plattsmouth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Herold. pione ers of this community. She was married in Plattsmouth to Arble Fitt, who preceded her In death. Survivors are one son, Harold, one sister, Mrs. Freda Lane. Preceding her in death are the parents, one brother, Otto Her old. Burial was In the Engelwood Calif. Death of Oscar Zink, 88 at Lincoln Home Oscar Zink, 88, member of a prominent Cass county family and son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Turner Zink, died Monday at his home, 3242 North 52nd street Lincoln. He was born in Russell, la., and had lived eighty-three years in Nebraska, the last twenty-one in Lincoln. Mr. Zink was engag ed in farming in Cass county for the greater part of his lifetime, the family being residents of the Elmwood community for many years. Mr. Zink was a member of Canopy lodge No. 209 AF & AM at Elmwood; Ideal chapter of the Eastern Star at Elmwood and the Modern Woodmen of Amer ica. He was a member of the Methodist church at Elmwood and in late years of Warren Methodist church at Lincoln. Survivors are: Wife. Oenla; sons, Carlton L., Moline, 111.; Turner O., Drexel Hill, Pa.; daughters, Mrs. Ellen Vander vrot, Morencl, Ariz.; Mrs. Mar jorie Mueller, Lemon Grove, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Laura Phin ney, Modesto, Calif.; four grand children. Funeral services for Mr. Zink were held this (Thursday) after noon at 2 o'clock at the Warren Methodist church at Lincoln, Rev. Keith Shepherd officiating. Herbert Glancy was soloist and Mrs. Constance Booth, organist. Burial was at Weeping Water. Pallbearers were Dean Robert son, Homer Gooding William Atchison, J. H.
