Ten members and six guests were present, Mrs. Kenneth Dokter and Kerl Sue, Mrs. Marvin Pllfold and and Steven Norrls. Mrs, Edward Van Horn gave a safety report on 'Fallout and Your Family's Health". Mrs. Willis Lorensen gave the lesson on "The Lady At The Wheel". She was assisted by Mrs. William Flnley. Next meeting will be Dec. 10 at the home of Mrs. Lewis Baker . for a 1 o'clock, luncheon and a gift exchange. Mrs. Kenneth Boyd and Mrs. Schmadeke will be in charge of the games and Mrs. Van Horn the gifts. Mrs. Baker will give the Christmas lesson. Mrs. Harry Potts was hostess to the' pinochle foursome on Wednesday afternoon. Steven Norris of Avoca is staying a week with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Baker and' family while his mother is in the hospit al with a new baby boy, David Boyd. Mr. and Mrs. ' O. W. Hock, Gregory and Loraine of Glen view, Illinois arrived on Sunday fqr a visit with Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Lorensen. Mrs. Hock and children will visit this week at the Lorensen home while Mr. Houck Is on a business trip. Mrs. Lorensen entertained at a coffee on Wednesday morning, honoring Mrs. Hock and fam ily. Mr. and Mrs. James Zessin were Tuesday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Ehlers and Debbie. Wednesday evening the two couples enjoyed a show in Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Knaup and Rodney were Sunday eve ning luncheon guests of Mrs. William Knaup of Murdock. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cook were Mr. and Mrs.' Cfeorge Bornemeier'of Elmwood, Eugene Wohlenberg, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kremke and Mrs. Krempke's mother. Helen Crozier of Long, Beach, California visited with her rel atives on Tuesday, Henry Cor zler a't Rest Haven, Archie Cro zier and Mrs. Howard Colbert at Murdock. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stock and family of Murdock were Sunday evening supper guests of . Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Boyd and fam. ily. Monday morning callers of Mrs. Boyd were Mrs. Arthur Schmidt and Mrs. Lee Wilson. Mrs. Ted Cooper and Mrs. Ar thur Schmidt took Den 2 of the Cub Scouts to Manley after school to visit the grocery store there. The boys were given a large candy bar by the owner. The theme of the Cub Scouts this month is "Country Store". Mrs. R. B. Stone of Nehawka and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Stone of Tucson, Arizona were .Wednes day evening dinner guests of Mr. artd Mrs. Robert Jameson and family. The Opportunity Extension Club met on Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Lawrence Wise man with Mrs. Lemuel Lane as co-hostess. Mrs. Ralph Keckler was a guest. Mrs. Murray Mut ter has been appointed secreary treasurer in place of Mrs. Lest er Parson, who is moving to Lincoln. The lesson, "Christmas Traditions We Cherish in Nebr aska" was given by Mrs. E. J.
