Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bauer sacks are parents of a son born Nov. 6 at Providence hospital in Lincoln. He has been named David Scott and weighed 6 pou nds, 12 ounces. Mrs. Bauersacks was formerly Miss Jennie Lou Casey. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bauersacks of i Omaha and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Casey of Greenwood. Monday afternoon nine mem bers of the W. S. C. S. attended a Seminar meeting with district officers at the St. Marks church in Lincoln Ray Rouse is seriously ill at his home. Dr. N. D. Talcott is not so well lately and is confined to his bed at his home. George Bridenball of Beaver Crossing died at a Oakland hos pital. Osburn and Rodger attended a confirmation service at the Episcopal church of Ash land for Rose Billings Sunday. They also attended the recep tion in her honor held at the Le gion hall after the services. Parks who appeared at the piano recital held at the Methodist Church of Ashland Sunday afternoon were, Kathy Harmmer, Molly, Suan and Sara Greene, Donna Meyer and James Leadabrand. Mrs. Harry Lindley of Mal com called on Mrs. Charlie Bell Tuesday. FAST WORK! Dracut, Mass. State police solved a crime before the vic tims knew they had been rob bed. Troopers found two men asleep In a parked car and ques tioned them. They admitted stealing a safe containing $100 from a school in the town of Dracut. On the finance committee with chairman Herb Fret-burg nro Mert Jochimseii, Ted Ohnoutkn, Vic Srhreiner, Cecil Karr, Bill Knorr, Howard Ruback and Dale Bowman. Robert FaVis is in charge of street decorations and repair. Oja the committee for installa tion of decoations are Don Born, Ernie Elliott and Walt Glea son. The Chamber's Women's Divi sion will be in charge of Santa Land, with Mrs. Harold Smock as chairman.
