Lupardirs left the 18th on a three week vacation trip through tne South. Miss Helen Bauer is spending several weeks visiting her sister, Jennie, in Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schuelter are on a vacation trip, being in Kentucky last week. The R.N.A. Lodge met Sept. 22, for their regular monthly meeting and social. Mrs. Clyde Haswell was the hostess for the evening. Mr. and Mr. Laccy McDonald returned home from their trip to the West Coast on Thursday afternoon. The Murdock Community i Sunset Social was held in the E.U.B. Church Parlors Sept. 22, 1959. A fine chicken dinner was served to 60 guests. A short Pro gram followed the dinner. Spec ial tribute was given in memory of the departed, Mrs. Anna Zoz and Mrs. Eunice McHugh. Guests also were present from Elinwood, Eagle, Wabash, Weav erly, Weeping Water Ashland and Lincoln. A wonderful spirit was manifested throughout the social. Most of the Royal Neighbor ladies of Murdock attended the Bi-County Convention held in Weeping Water Sept. 24. The Methodist church ladies served the best banquet ever. The Mur. dock ladies assisted by Alvo put on the Retiring March, Louisville the initiation and Springfield had a very impres sive memorial service. Next year the convention will be at Louisville.
