Moore of this city, Is among the local young people returning to school this year. Jerry, graduate of the j class of 1959 of the Plattsmouth ' hiuh. entered the Commercial Extension School at Omaha In June grid returned September 1st to resume his work, Rac Mae Henry will re-enter Peru State Teachers Collge. Has Surgery MURDOCK Earl Kunz of Murdock entered Bryan Memor ial Hospital In Lincoln Tues., Sept. 1 for minor surgery, re turning home Sept. 4. California Visitor i Visits Parents Mr. and Mrs. John Vallery have had as their guest from Wednesday night until Sunday their son Robert Vallery of New port Beach, Calif. This was the son's first visit here since locat ing on the west coast three years ago. Also at the family home were Mrs. Bufr Davis of Wayne and daughter Sandra of Derlver, Colo. Several family get-togethers and dinner parties were enjoyed during the visit. Leaving from the Omaha air port Sunday for home, Mr. Val lery had a chat with Mrs. Shir ley Buchanan of Omaha who just returned from a flight to the west coast to visit her sis ter, Mrs. Donna Bea Noble. Mrs. Buchanan was met by her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Seiver of Omaha. Also at the airport were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rebal of Platts mouth who were meeting Fred Rebal arriving from his home In Verdugo City, Calif. A Classified Ad In The Journal cost as little as 50 cents Party Sunday At Williamson Home A party Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Williamson Included nearly fifty guests from Lincoln, Seward, Omaha, Kan sas City, Mo., and Plattsmouth. The outdoor party was In ob servance of many celebrations. Houseguests were the couple's son Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Wil liamson and daughter Kimy; the visitors were celebrating their third wedding anniver sary. There were several surprise and housewarming guests wel coming Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wil liamson in their home west of Plattsmouth. They purchased the house this summer from Mr. and Mrs. Estll Jenkins. Also at the party were Mr. and Mrs. Gene Lewis and son of Omaha, he being an old army buddy of several Plattsmouth boys. Also present were Mr. and Mrs. Dick Fischer and daugh ter, guests bidding farewell to them. The Fischers are moving to California. D., Cheyenne, Wyo. and to the mountains in Denver, Colo. At Denver they visited with relatives and also with friends Mr .and Mrs. Bill Gansemer, and with relatives at Central City, Colo. They motored to Sutton en route home where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hultine. They were met there Labor Day weekend by Mr. and Mrs. Grover Cundall. Sr., and Kurt Cundall, Miss Janet Camp bell of this city and Mr, and Mrs. George Fine and children of Bellevue. Mrs. Hultine is a, sister of Grover Cundall, Sr. All the Plattsmouth people and the Fines of Bellevue re turned home Monday night. Dick Newton Is Birthday Honoree Dick Newton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Newton, was hon ored on his 15th birthday Sun day at the family home. ! E. Aesch backer solemnized the double ring ceremony. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Lois Allgayer, Avoca, the grooms parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Wennekamp, Craig. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor len gth gown fashioned of lace and Italian silk styled with a fitted bodice, short sleeves and full skirt. She carried red roses on a white Bible. Marcella Wenna kamp sister of the groom was her attendant wore a lavendar multi-colored gown and carried carnaitons. Robert Wennekamp was best man; Lenord Buckholz and John Stoehr ushered. Carlene Allgayer sister of the bride and Gearl'dine Walters were candle lighters. Mrs. Lenard Buckholz sis ter of the bride had the guest book. A reception was held in the church parlors. The couple plans to live in Omaha where both are employ ed. The double ring ceremony was read and signed by Reverend Mappes of Omaha. It was a candlelighted ceremony with the altar framed with arrangements of pink gladiolus and baskets of flowers. Mrs. Wm. Hols played the org an - prelude and accompanied Mrs. Margtterite Lee who sang. The bricte, given In marriage by her brother, Larry Reinwand, designed and made her wedding gown, which was of white Chan tilly lace over satin. The bodice featured long fitted sleeves and low neckline. The back of the skirt lay in soft folds from the waist to the hem, and formed a small train. Her fingertip veil of net caught up in a lace and pearl crown. Her only jewelry was a single strand of pearls, and she carried a bouquet of white Fuji mums and Ivy. Attending the bride were the Misses Marlene Hestness and Helen Case, both of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Howard Wood was best man, and Franklin Wermimont, gro omsman. Both men are of Coun cil Bluffs, Iowa. Ushers were Darrel Weiner of Ames and Dale Kern of Cedar Rapids. The bride's colors of pink and green were carried out in the decorations of the church parlors where the reception for 125 guests was held. The serving table was laid with a lace cloth over pink, and centered with a three-tiered, posted wedding Dinner Party For Mrs. Meisinger Mrs. Dorothy Meisinger was a surprise birthday honoree at a dinner party. The bride has been employed at a printing office in Des Moines. The bridegroom is a linotype operator at the Plattsmouth Journal. After a short wedding trip they are at home on Rte 1, Council Bluffs.
