Linda Norrls enrolled at the University of Nebraska School of Nursing in Omaha. Miss Nor ris attended college in Crete the past year. Bill Jameson was among thirty-one students from the University of Nebraska Agricul tural College to leave Monday on a 1,500 mile tour of livestock interest in Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado. The tour lasted four days and was set up by the Block and Bridle club of the University College of Agricul ture. Bill returned home from the trip Thursday night. The Sunny Hill Aid Society met on Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Merton Nor rls. Sandra Jameson spent several days with her grandmother, Mrs. R. B. Stone of Nehawka. Margaret Boyce left on Tues day for Monroe, Iowa where she attended the wedding of her neice, Mary Ida Smith. Mrs. Robert Chestnut of Bill ings, OklalVna and Mrs. Wil liam Knaup of Murdock, were, dinner guests at the Henry Knaup home on Saturday. Mrs. Chestnut, who has been visiting relatives in Nebraska and her son, Donald Chestnut and fam ily of Woodstock, Illinois for the past month, returned to her home in Oklahoma on Tues day. Mrs. Victor Plunkett, Jr., and Mrs. Mae Nielsen gave the lesson on "Parents and Pur se Strings." The next meeting will be, with Mrs. Fred Holt with Mrs. Ed Steinkamp as assist ant hostess. An afternoon's outing was en joyed Sunday afternoon by 55 members of the Christian Church, at the Louisville Lakes. Swimming was enjoyed until 4:30 after which everyone did their best to partake of 400 hun dred pounds of melon. The men played horseshoe after the wa termelon feed.
