Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Hum ston, Lynn and Sara were Sun day dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hall and family near Waverly. Jerry and Ray Andrews and Mrs. Kav Derby and daughters were also guests there. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Apple garth went to the Max Gar wlck home in Lincoln Sunday for the day. They brought their little daughter ean home. She had spent some time there. Iris Garwick came to the Ap plegarth home for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Clark, Bobby and Debbie of Omaha were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Arley Barger. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Williams and Brad of Logan, Iowa, and the Misses Ethel and Mary Burnham of Lincoln were call ers at the Fred Stickney home. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Bachman were Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bachman, Mr. and Mrs. Vernor Bachman and Lor rie and Mr. and Mrs. William Mason and family. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Bower and family attended the picnic of the Young; Adult group of the Methodist Church at Holl ing Ranch. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Roe ber, John and Merry Sue at tended a picnic dinner for Frank Riester of Manlev at the Earl Puis home near Manley. Mrs. Don Rau, Kathy and Rusty of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Krecklow and Sharon and Mr. and Mrs. John Kreck low of Lincoln were Sunday din ner guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Rau. Rusty remained to spend a week. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Armstrong called on Mr. and Mrs. John Hoffman and Lucille. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cha dek and family of Omaha spent Sunday afetrnoon with Mr. and Mrs. Art Box and Milton. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ives of Omaha and Mrs. W. 'A. Jones were visitors with Mr. and Mrs. John Jones and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ives expect to move to California soon. Sharon Moll of Hooper spent the weekend at the Kenneth Graham home. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Moll and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Moll and Alan of Hoo per were Sunday afternoon and lunch guests there. Linden DeFreece came Sat urday evening to spend some, time with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Armstrong. They all spent Sunday with Mrs. Lloyd DeFreece, Lotys and Ly anne in Peru. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Standcr had supper with Mr. and Mrs. Norman Leybold, and Marlin in Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Moore j and Dewey W. spent Sunday! evening with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rueter. Mr. and Mrs. Darold Miller and family of Ceresco visited at the George Bornman home. The Junior Fairlanders exten sion club held its June 16 meet ing with Mrs. Gerald Hall near Waverly. Twelve members were present. The lesson was on Car Talk in Woman's Language, a discussion session. Mrs. Ken ty quiz. Only one was able to answer all questions correctly. The next meeting will be a fam ily picnic July 19 at 6 p.m. at the State Fisheries near Gretna. Mrs. Hall served lunch. Mrs. Earl Ueberrhein assist ed Mrs. John Fox cook for hay ing crewmen Friday. Mrs. Rena Baler and Jeffery of Los Angeles, Mrs. Wesley Phillips and daughter and Mrs. Shelby Phillips of Fremont and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Griffith of Denton, Tex., were Monday af ternoon visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Keller. Mr. Griffith worked for Mr. Keller 40 years ago. Mrs. Joe Weborg of Pender spent from Wednesday until Sat urday with Mr. and Mrs. Mar tin Stenberg and Mrs. Emma Olson. Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Weborg and Frank Weborg were Saturday dinner guests. Mrs. Joe Weborg and Mrs. Olson ac companied them to Pender Sat urday evening. Mrs. Olson will spend some time with her dau ghters naer Pender. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rich ards attended the annual Fath er's Day and family reunion pic nic at the Orville Sandy home in Greenwood Sunday. There was a nice crowd present to en joy the get-together. Mr. and Mrs. John Wescott and Carrie Ann cf Raymond were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Parrott. Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Odell spent Saturday and Sunday they attended the Golden Wed ding anniversary celebration of friends, Mr. and Mrs. George Evans and In the evening their son, Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Odell entertained a group of relativ es and friends at a barbecue supper on the patio of their new home honoring Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Odell a week late for their 48th wedding anniver sary. Sunday the Odell families attended church services at the North Side Charlstian Church which was recently dedicated. Miss Patty Odell accompanied her grandparents home for a vis it here. Mrs. Willa Weldon, Mrs. Mab le Milam and Mr. and Mrs. Lun dall Watson and sons were Sun day supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Mansfield. Mrs. Melvin Sturm spent Tues day and Wednesday with her father, II. W. Steinmeyer at Claytonia. Their little daughters, Karen, Lindell and Janice stay ed with their grandparents for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. La Vern Klipp, Larry and Leroy of Fairmont spent Saturday night and Sun day with Mr. and Mis. Henry Klipp. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Rag er of Wann joined them for din ner Sunday when they were cel ebrating Mrs. La Vern Klipp's birthday, which was also the first birthday for their little son Leroy. Ruth and Bruce will spend the week at the Bill Badsteen home in Su perior. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Nel son spent Friday and Saturday in Lincoln, Mr. Nelson having a checkup at the Lincoln Clinic.
