Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Satter fleld and children and Mr. and Mrs. Oren Hopper returned home Sunday from a 10-day vaca tion spent visiting with relativ es in Oklahoma and Missouri. They visited with Mrs. Satter field's grandfather, Bud Price, in Blnger. Okla. She had not seen him for 13 years. They also vis ited with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Eslinger in Lebanon, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Louie Hopper in Licking, Mo. They had supper one evening with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Campbell and family In Mountain Grove. Mo. The Campbells were former Louis ville residents. Mr. .and Mrs. .Lyle Beck and children and Kenneth Hensen were Sunday afternoon and eve ning callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Zouldek Jr. and family near Weeping Water. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Living ston and Susan attended a pre- i nuptial dinner Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lancaster in Murray honoring the approaching mar riage of Janice Lancaster to Roger Hild. Mrs. Bernice Smith and Mrs. Wendell Feighner and son Stev en Homan were Wednesday eve ning callers at the Sanford Ho man home in Weeping Water. Steven stayed for a visit with his grandparents, the Homans. They were Sunday ov ernight guests at the T. M. Thompson home in Talmage and were dinner guests Monday at the Stanley Oestmann home In Johnson. Mrs. Bill Ingram and children were Tuesday evening callers at the Harold Hlavac home. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Ahl and daughter Rhonda of Springfield left Tuesday for Greeley K Colo., where Mr. Ahl has enrolled for summer work at the Univer sity and is working toward his master's degree. Mrs. Myrna Smith entertain ed the three eighth graders from her school, Oak Grove, at a dinner and show in Omaha Sat urday evening. The students were John Bruning, Rosalie Con- ley and Gail Duerr. Junior Baseball Teams Win From Bellevue 5 to 3 The Junior baseball team spon sored by the Chamber of com merce scored a 5 to 3 win over the Bellevue team on Thursday on the local grounds. For Platts mouth Noel pitched six innings striking out ten, walked three and hit one, Todd, in one inn ing gave a walk. Morris of the locals hit a three base drive. Pearson for Bellevue struck out 13, walked 1 and hit five. Sixteen Foot Boat Reported As Missing A 16 foot all steel boat was either stolen or allowed to drift down stream on June 11. The boat was anchored at the River side Drive-In and was the pro perty of the Missouri Valley Dredging Company. The steel boat had the letters of MVD welded in it's hull. Plattsmouth Drops Close Came At Ralston Plattsmouth dropped a good ball game Sunday at Ralston by the score of 4 to 3, one of the best games that has been staged so far this season. The locals led up to the ninth inning. Plattsmouth scored their three runs in the fourth Inning when Krajicek singled off Bridenbau gh, followed by Wohlfarth who trippled to score Krajicek. Wohl farth scored when Hodge Eaton doubled and Eaton tallied on the triple shot of McCaw. Bjork ended the local part of the Inn ing by a strikeout. Prohaska, second sacker of Ralston scored In the third in ning on a hit by Zltka. In the sixth Inning Slezak of Ralston was safe on an error, Gruldel was safe on an error by Hlrz and a hit by Burkhart tallied Slezak. Burkhart hit a three bagger for Ralston, later scoring. With the score tied at the opening of the ninth Inning Bridenbaugh held Plattsmouth scoreless. Prohaska of Ralston was hit by the McCaw and rea ched first base and later scored on the hit of Zitka to close the contest. Harold McCaw of Plattsmouth pitched a good game with nine scattered hits. The Plattsmouth team tailed five off Bridenbaugh. Curfew To Be Enforced In Bellevue Bellevue Is to enforce their 10 p.m. curfew ordinance young folks under 18 years of age, Pol ice Chief Warren Robinson of that city has announced. This action has been requested by Juvenile Officer Joe Morgan be cause of "increasing trouble with teenagers." The ordinance forbids thoso under 18 years of age to be on the streets or in public places unless accompanied by parent or authorized adult, going or com ing from a legitimate meeting or on an errand for parents or iu the course of employment.
