NEHAWKA NEWS Mn. F. 0. Sand Phone 2708 Mrs. Floyd Perrin. Lincoln, was Ruest speaker Friday afternoon when the Nehawka Woman's club observed guest day at the home of Mrs. Marion Tucker. Mrs. Perrin is state chairman of citizenship and legislature. Her topic was citizenship. Mrs. Fmnia Nutzman, program chairman Introduced Mrs. Hen ry Ross, program loader who in turn presented Mrs. Perrin. Mrs. Harvey Barkhurst gave a report of the county conven tion and Mrs. Ollie Attebery told of the district convention. A book was placed on the memory shelf in the library to com immorate Mrs. George Sheldon. Mrs. Elmer Stoll will represent the club in the Vogue sewing contest. Co-hostesses were the club of ficers. Next meeting will be Dec. 5 with Mrs. Harvey Barkhurst Guests were from Elmwood, Union, Avoca, Lincoln and Med ford, Ore. Schmidt and grandsons, Glen and Gary Moyer of Nebraska City, were dinner guests Sunday of the John Tysons. The Otterbein Aid met with Mr.-;. Eugene Fitch for quilting Thursday afternoon. They com pleted a quilt and were to meet next with Mrs. Victor Turner to start another quilt. Albert Johnson was taken this week to the University hospital in Omaha for observation and treatment. Clyde switzer is patient in Clarkson hospital, Omaha. Mrs. Randall Switzer and Nancy visit ed him Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Senn Wadde.il were guests Sunday of Mrs. Car rie Waddell and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Waddell of Pawnee City. Mr. and Mrs. Conald Waehter, Palmyra, were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Warden and sons. Mr. and Mrs. I. A. Warlick spent Sunday and Monday with the Flody Warlicks at Falls City. Vicki and Steve moved last week from Wellington, Kansas to Falls City. Larry Whittington, who at tends York college, was home for the weekend. Dan Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Anderson, Miss Evelyn Wolph rind Georp.e Sheldon were supper guests Thursday of the F. O. Sands. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ehlers as sisted this week with the corn picking at the Lester Shrader farm. Mr. and Mrs. Hall Pollard were guests Sunday of the John Hilda of Plattsmouth. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dane, Boca Raton, Fla.. came Satur day afternoon to visit relatives. They were dinner guests Satur day evening of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Ross. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ross and family, Nebraska City, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Hansen and family. The dinner also observed the birth day of Martin Ross.
