The Wesleyan Band played for presentation of the "W" Club Sweetheart, Ray Rosenow play ing clarinet with the band. Mrs. Elmer Rosenow visited Arthur Dinges at the Veterans Hospital Friday. Mrs. Charles Holmes died aft er a stroke Wednesday night. Funeral services were at the Alvo Methodist Church Sunday afternoon with burial at the Waverly cemetery. Pearl Banning, sister of John Banning, fell and broke her hip in June and is still in the hos pital at Nebraska City. Mrs. Arthur Dinges was a din ner guest of Mrs. Grace Copple, Monday.
