She will tearh her second year as music instructor in the Brock schools. Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Zastera of Syracuse are here this week, Mr. Zastera looking after the prescription business at the Cass drug store, while his brother, Joe and wife are vacationing in Minnesota. B. B. is one of the veteran druggists of the state, while he has disposed of his store at Syracuse, is kept busy filling in for vacationing druggists, lie was last week at Nebraska City and from here goes to Crete. Mr. and Mrs. J. Howard Davis and daughter, Carol, have re turned home from their vaca tion spent at Estes Park,, Colo. Carol had been visiting in Chap pel, and the parents stopped en route to Colorado, and she ac companied them on the trip. Mrs. Hugo Heyn of Omaha drove to Plattsmouth today to meet her sisters. Miss Grace Livingston, Mrs. Henry Hild, Mrs. Mvron Wiles and Mrs. John Vallery, who will accom pany her to Lake Okoboji for the Labor Day weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Cole and family have returned home from a fishing trip to Minnesota. Mr. and Mrs. John J. O'Con nell have received word from their son, Sgt. Tim O'Connell. that he lias just returned to his army base in Germany from a leave in Belgium. He had the op portunity of attending the world's fair that is just closing in BrusselLs. It was one of the largest fairs that has been held in many years, first since world war II. A great many nations in cluding the United States had buildings at the fair. Sgt. O'Con nell who has been serving lor eight months in the army is now with the military police. Bf 1 i. . , mm O 1 v Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hild and son Roger and Miss Janice Lan caster have returned home from a vacation trip to Chicago, 111., where they were guests of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hild. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Newton returned home Wednesday night from their vacation trip to Miss ouri. They enjoyed the Lake of the Ozarks.
