The Cascade Club met on Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. George Kirchhoff. Next meeting will be July 30 with Mrs. Henry Irons. Mrs. Mary Thorns was hostess to her pinochle club on Thurs day afternoon. High score prize was won by Mrs. Vern Harter, low score prize by Mrs. Ethel Hermann and traveling prize by Mrs. Ross Kin ton. The lad ies will meet on July 10 with Betty Hermann. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Berg mann and Debbie were Wed nesday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Meisinger and family. They visited with Mr. Up ton's sister and then they took the girls to camp at Camp Ki wanis where they will spend this week at the Christian Church camp. Ray Harper is the direc tor this year. They will return home Saturday. Mr. Mather had been released from the Blair hospital and is now on crutches. Many Attend Chime Dedication Sunday At Nebraska City Sunday a number of Platts mouth people were at Nebraska City to attend the services at St. Mary's Episcopal church where the church was observiin; the 100th anniversary of the chartering of the church as well as dedication of the organ chimes. Rev. Eric B. Asboe, rector of the church conducted the bless ing of the chimes, a gift from John Pfann family and friends in memory of Coretta Plana, former Cass county welfare director. Those attending from this city were Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Ledg way, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dyer. Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Walling and Mrs H. F.
