News From Greenwood Mrs. Frank Hurlbut, Phono 2685 Mrs. Walter Woitzel has re turned home from an 13 day hip to California. While there -tic visited her niece, Mrs. Mer iu Graham. Hamilton and fam ily at Anaheim, her nephew, Max Graham and family at San Jom her brother, Dr. A. R. Lang at Fresno and Mrs. Lucy Grlf lin at Modesto. The trip was made by plane and even a Helicopter. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Marvin Went to to Sioux City, Iowa last week to attend commencement exercises at the Central High School. Their granddaughter, Mary Knolle was one of those Knolle came to Greenwood Fri day for a visit with his grand parents. Vacation Bible School that was held at the Methodist Church cnueu Tuesday, adoui 25 chil dren attended and tho:e who helped teach were Janice Wiles, Arlene Johnson, Anna Marolf, Alta Fulmer. Sharon Kay Fulmer entertain ed at her home Wednesday aft ernoon in honor of her 9th birth-1 day the following girls, Susan Petersen, Becky West, Marilyn Carpenter, Colleen Grady, and Susan Green. Other visitors at tending the party were Mrs. Ma ry Fulmer, Mrs. D. A. Fulmer and Alta and Mrs. John Grady. Mrs. Kenneth O'Rourke en tertained at her home Monday afternoon In honor of Roddy's 5th birthday. Those attending were John and Joe Sacca, Jim my Stewart, Patty Comstock, Mike Wall, Marty Reighard, Co dy Ramel and Johnny Barber. Other visitors at the party were Mrs. Rose McDonald. Mrs. Vir gil Barber, Mrs. Don Sacca and Mrs. Bob Wall. Mr. and Mrs. James Voehl and Vicki attended commence ment at the University of Ne braska. Mrs. Voehl's niece, Nora Moore, was among the gradua tes. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Welton at tended the commencement ex ercises held at the University of Nebraska Coliseum Saturday morning. Their grandson Dick Bond was among the graduates. After tils exercises, Mr. and Mrs. Welton's daughter, Mrs. Margaret Bond, entertained a party of 16 relatives and friends at a hotel. Mrs. George Carter spent 10 days at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Carter of Omaha, caring for her grand daughter, Linda. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Carter are parents of a boy born May 21. He has been named Jeffery Owen. Mrs. Sally Iden of Billings, Mont., arrived Saturday morn ing at the home of her sister, Mrs. N. D. Talcott for an ex tended visit. Oliver Boiler was taken by am bulance to the University Hos pital in Omaha last Monday where he will be for quite a while for tests and observation. Last week guests at the Oliver Boiler home were their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Boil er of Wray, Colo. The Boilers' daughter, Mrs. Nola Neiderhaus, returned to her home Saturday.
