Homemaking 1 and Home making 11 are holding play school for two weeks between the hours of 9:15 and 11:50. Play school is held annually for children between the ages of two and five years of age. The first day of play ichool was held on Wednesday in the Homemaking Room of the Weeping Water High School. The girls learn how to take care of young children and a lunch is furnished each morning. Mrs. Hy Kirchhoff, Mrs. George Kirchhoff, Mrs. Alfred Ebert and Mrs. Fred Kirchhoff attended the 10th annual meet ing of the North Nebraska Group of the Women's Missionary Fe deration Rally at Mineola, Iowa, Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Stratton ac companied by their grandsons, Jimmy and Ricky Stratton were Monday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Stratton. Jim my and Ricky were overnight guests of their grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Hock and Gregory returned to their home at Peoria, 111., after visiting two weeks with Mrs. Hock's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Lorensen and with other relatives in this vicinity. Mrs. Adam Cook was released from the St. Mary's hospital on Thursday and she is staying at the home of her son and fam ily, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Cook of Nehawka. Mrs. E. Thomas Stacey enter tained at a birthday party on Saturday afternoon for the seventh birthday of her daugh ter, Heather. Nine classmates were guests. Each child was given a little hat as a favor. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Free man and family were hosts at a birthday supper Sunday even ing in honor of the birthday of Earl Freeman of Avoca and Myrna Van Horn. Mrs. Edward Van Horn baked the birthday cake.
