No. 12 Fund: Plattsmouth State Bank j Mrs. Bessie Core Laid to Last Rest At Louisville Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the First Methodist Church in Louis vilie for Mrs. Bessie Core, 65, long time resident of that com munity. Rev. Donald Webster, pastor of the church, conducted the service. Mrs. Doris Hirsch was soloist, singing "Beyond the Sunset" and "Beautiiul Isle of Somewhere", Mrs. Laura Gess was organist for the services. Burial was at Glendale ceme tery beside her loved ones. Pallbearers were Ross Nichols, Clarence Nessen, Louis Isacc, E. K. Hansen, Adam Rentschler and Kenneth Heard, The Fussel man funeral home was In charge of arrangements. Bessie Alice Gadway, daugh ter of Frank and Adelia Gad way, was born near Greeley Center, Neb., September 3, 1892. When she was nine years of age the family moved to Louisville where she grew to wo manhood. She attended the Louisville public schools and was gradu ated from the high school. La ter the family moved to Miller, Neb, where they resided for several years. During this per iod of her life she was engaged in practical nursing. She married to William A. Core, October 10, 1928 and re turned to Louisville where she made her home for the remain der of her life. She was baptised and receiv ed into full membership of the Methodist Church on Palm Sun day, March 18, 1951. Mrs. Core was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the American Legion Auxiliary at Louisville. Many years of her life were devoted to caring for members of her family during extended illnesses and she was always eager to help those less fortu nate than herself. She was preceded in death by her mother in 1938. her husband in 1944 and her father in July 1957. Mrs. Core's health has been failing for several months, she had been acutely ill three months prior to her death at an Omaha hospital Sunday, Decem ber 22nd. To mourn her passing are: sisters, Mrs. Edward L. Jones, Meridan, Ida.; Mrs. William E. Jones, Florence, Ore., Mrs. Alfred Remus, Wallfleot, Neb., two brothers, Raymond Gadway, Gcrhenberg,' Neb.; Robert Gad way of Walillect, Neb.; many nieces, nephews and other rela tives and a host of friends.
