Suiwiyside CJub The Sunnyside Extension Club met Nov. 25 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Tritsch with Mrs. Lester Wunderlich as co hostess. There were 15 members, 8 children and a visitor present. Mrs. Robert Faris presented an interesting lesson on Christmas wraps and trims. The meeting featured a cookie exchange. The next meeting will be the Christ mas party at the home of Mrs. Oeorge McKulsky on Dec. 18. This will be a covered dish luncheon starting at noon. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Miller and family of Omaha were Thanks giving guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geln Thompson. Mr. and Mrs. George Thomp son and family and Mr. Ray mond Meadows of Omaha were dinner guests in the home of Glen Thompson on Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Havley Sayers and Mrs. Veronica Baker enjoy ed thanksgiving dinner in the the home of Mr. and Mrs. Har old Sayers and sons. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. IN On Tuesday evening at the Fred Campbell home was the scene of a birthday celebration for Tommv Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Campbell of Lincoln. Those present were Mi. and Mrs. Don Campbell and Donna, Tommy's brother and sister, Mary Kay and Frank Campbell and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Campbell. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Smith entertained in their home for Thanksgiving dinner the follow ing guests: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Campbell of Lincoln and little Lee Todd, who is staying at the Bill Campbell home since the ar rival of a little babv brother at his home. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Leyda drove to Papillion, Nebr. to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Overholser and family for Thanksgiving dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Denison Price and family enjoyed Thanksgiv ing dinner at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Price at Julian, Nebr. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Furse and Butch entertained Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lancaster, Nancy and Janice and Roger Hild at their home for Thanksgiving dinner. Janice Lancaster is spending the Thanksgiving Holidays with her parents and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lancaster and Nancy. The flu bug has caught up with Janice tho, and she hasn't been feeling so well. Mrs. Bert Worthan and Mrs. Marion Worthan were Nebraska City visitors on Friday of this week. Mr. and Mrs. Harley Lloyd, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Lloyd and Ed Kniss of Murray were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Lloyds in Omaha, on Thanksgiving. Si Morris of Ashland spent Thankgiving at the home of his daughter and family Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hostetter. Mrs. Eugenie Deles Dernier and Ray entertained Mr. and Mrs. Doeshot and son Gordon, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Britton and family of Omaha for Thanks giving dinner. Mr. Dill Dernier stopped in Murray last week to visit with Dr. R. W. Tyson, after hear ing there were more Deles Dernier' in Murray he called at the home of Mrs. Eugenie Dernier and to his surprise dis-i covered they were distant rel atives. A guest in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jacobson is Mrs. Bess McCoy from Villisca, la., mother of Mrs. Jacobson. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Lutz and Jimmy entertained Mary Lou Lutz of Omaha, George Grant of Offutt AFB and Marie Lutz of Plattsmouth at their home for Thanksgiving dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Creamer and Alice Creamer spent Thanks giving at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hirz of Plattsmouth. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wunder lich spent Thanksgiving Day with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rosen crans of South Bend. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Dee Hostetter was the setting for a large family group on Thanks giving Day. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hostetter and son of Omaha. The Lewiston School will pre sent a Christmas program at the Lewiston Community Center on Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Richter en tertained Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mrasek and Clara, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Mrasek and Nancy for Thanksgiving dinner. Mr. and Mrs. James East ridge were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Weibie of Nebraska City, on Thanksgiving Day. Guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Spreick and Ellen for Thanksgiving dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Snrieck of Louis ville; and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Elliott and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Elliott and daughters of Platts mouth. Tuesday evening callers at the John Gruber Sr. home in Man ley were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schoemaker of Weeping Water. 4-II Helpers Club The 4-H Helpers club met Nov. 14 for its organization meeting at the home of the as sistant leader, Mrs. Richard Streeter. Our roll call was an swered with the project each one decided to take for the fol lowing year. We then elected our new officers. Those elected were as follows: president, Nancy Saltmarsh; vice president, Julie Ziers; Sec retary, Nancy Inman; historian, Evelyn Isaac; reporter, Cheryl Streeter; music chairman, Judy Stohlmann. The president selected Judy Gruber and Diane Reed in charge of entertainment for the month 6f ; December. We voted to do some caroling for the shut ins during December. The new president, Nancy Saltmarsh, opened the meeting. We respon ded to the roll call-by telling what we were thankful for. We adjourned and practiced carols. Cheryl Streeter, reporter. Mr. and Mrs. Troy Buskirk, Gary and Gaynelle of Spring field and Miss Neva Buskirk were Sunday afternoon callers at the home of Mrs. Louis Bus kirk and Miss Monu in Manley. Mrs. Mildred Krittenbrink has returned from Gregory, South Dakota where she was called by the serious illness and death of her uncle. She was accompan ied by Mrs. Jim Kritenbrink. The Louisville Lions Club is planning to observe its 17th an nual charter night Dec. 12. Dis trict Governor Ford Bates of Omaha will be the guest speak er for the evening. Ladies will be guests of the members that evening. The club will not hold its re gular meeting Dec. 19 but will meet Dec. 5. Guests last Thursday evening at the club meeting were Jack Cell, instructor in industrial arts at the high school, and Otto Nielsen of Springfield. Mr. and Mrs. Mose Barr are spending the winter with their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Barr in Valley. The Barrs re cently celebrated their C5th wedding anniversary and Mrs. Barr's 85th birthday. Recently Mrs. Barr suffered a fall and injured her leg and it is impos sible for her to get around without help. The Barrs nnss their Louisville friends and would enjoy hearing from them often and invite anyone to call on them when they are in the neighborhood. BIRTHS Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Sheehan of Louisville are the parents of a daughter born Nov. 18 at Bryan Memorial Hospital, Lincoln. She weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces, and has been named Renee Jean. The meeting was called to order by the president and we then worked on Christmas pre sents. All members were present. We met Nov. 21 at the home of Mrs. Porter and worked on Christmas presents. Eight members were present and upon dismissal of the meet ing we all joined in the friend ship circle.
