Willm,, 65, promin ent resident of the Millard com munity, died Friday at his home. Survivors are: wife, Al ma; daughters, Mrs. Robert Mc Ardle, Elkhorn; Mrs. Frank Dall, Bellevue; sons, Orville and Vein, Millard; William of Sidney, la.; Gene of Roswell, N. M.; fifteen grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Dora Bock, Gretna; brother, Arthur Millard. Funeral services were held this afternoon from Bethany Lutheran church at Elkhorn. Committal at Evergreen cemetery. Capt. Paul F. Huber Dies At Offutt Base Capt. Paul F. Huber, 74, re tired from active army service, died Saturday at the Offutt Air Base hospital, where he has been ill since August. He was born October 3, 1883 at Germantown, Pa. to Paul C. and Emma Fuch. Surviving are two sons, Paul C. Huber, El Reno, Okla., Fred Huber, Kansas City, Mo., one daughter, Isabella Yeakley, Los Angeles, four grandchildren. He came to Offutt Field in 1945 and made many acquain tances there and in Plattsmouth during his residence. Capt. Huber was a veteran of World Wars I and II. He was a member of the Mas onic order in El Reno, and of the American Legion and V F W in Omaha. Funeral services will be at El Reno Tuesday and interment at that place. Visiting hours were held here at the Caldwell - Lin der chapel on Sunday after noon and evening. The Caldwell - Linder funer al home was in charge of ar rangements. Former Cass County Lady Dies In Oregon Older residents of Cass County will regret to learn of the death of Mrs. Clara Reed McCall in Portland, Ore., on November 1st. Mrs. McCall was the youngest sister of late Bert Reed, former sheriff of Cass county and long time resident of the Elmwood community. Police Court Busy Place At End Of Week Judge J. H. Graves had a busy time following the Thanksgiv ing holiday and turned over a nice assortment of fines to help the school treasury. Clarence llaram was in court to answer a charge of willful I reckless driving by Officers ! Chappell and Tesch. He receiv ed a fine of $50 and also had his drivers license suspended for thirty clays. David Kneale wa charged with speeding and running a ctop sign receiving v total of $20 for the offense. Carl A. Ciciulla was charged with improper parking and re ceived a fine of $3 and costs or a total of $7. Judge Graves heard a long pending case, that of Jack Mink, charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influ ence of alcoholic liquor.
