They will be guests of Mrs. Alyce Sharp nack and at the Kenneth Mc Carthy homes, parents of the couple. George Conis wiM accompany Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Copman and son, Tommy to the Sam Conis home in Perry, la., where they will enjoy Thanksgiving Day. Fred II. Stohlman of Louis ville was a riattsmouth bus iness caller Monday. Dr. and Mrs. P.T. Heneman departed today for Sioux Falls, S.D., to be Thanksgiving Day guests of Mrs. Heinemans uncle, Selbert Christnsen. The couple will return home Fri day. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gorton and famly, Mrs. Glen Vallery, of this city will join Mr. and Mrs. Harold Petersen and son, Bob, of Omaha at the John Koop home in Omaha for Thanksgiv ing. Hy Gruber who just recently returned from the US Veterans Hospital in Omaha, is recuper ating at the family home in this city. He is feeling much better; altho not able to be down in the business section of the city. Mrs. Frank Cook and son are back at home from Paxton, where they have been enjoying a visit with relatives and friends. Holiday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Knorr will be their son. Mrs. Boyd Rouse and son of West Point spent some time here at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Melsinger, while Mr. Rouse attended a sal es meeting in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Rouse will spend Thanks giving Day in Tekamah with Mr. Rouse 'a parents. Mrs. J. W. Holmes and Mrs. Christie Hickey plan dining out in Omaha for their Thanksgiv ing dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wole ver and family of Columbus will be at the Joe Libershal home Thanksgiving day, father of Mrs. Wolever. Mrs. Wolever will be assisted in preparing the din ner by Mrs. Sophia Wolever, mother of Charles. Mr. and Mrs. Don Warga and Mr. and Mrs. DeForrest Perry will be Thanksgiving dinner guests of Mrs. Ida Cadwell, the mother of Mrs. Perry and Mrs. Warga. Attorney Florence A. Fouchek and Loris B. Long, local real tor, have returned from a short vacation trip to the lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas. They were accompanied by Miss Fou chek's mother, Mrs. S. A. Fou chek of Creston, la. While down south the party visited Falcon Dam and Padre Island. Mrs. Clair Shellenbarger was hostess at a coffee Tuesday morning neighbor Miss Grace Livingston. Miss Livingston California. Guests were neigh bors, Mrs. Dean Morrison, Mrs. Fred Lugsch, Mrs. Glen Vallery and Mrs. Ron Furse. Plymouth DBUGSl ILL Clarence Schmadeke, Cass County Agent, from Weeping Water was a Plattsmouth caller Tuesday. Ken Wohlbrandt, former lino typist for the Plattsmouth Jour nal, was a caller here Tuesday. Ken was on vacation from his work at the newspaper plant in Hill City, Kans., and was visit ing his aunt, Mrs. Luhring at Weeping Water. Mrs. Keener Price return ed home Friday from tha Methodist Hospital, Omaha, where she had surgery. She is getting along fine. Mr. and Mrs. William Skillen of Akron, Ind., are here to visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Newton and with Miss Naomi Day. Mrs. Skillen is sis ter of the local ladies. Robert Skillen and W. R. Hol ly of Manawa, la., were here Monday to look after some bus iness matters and calling on friends. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Swoboda are Thanksgiving dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kruntorad and Ronnie. Thanksgiving guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Woster will be the Clem Woster and the Rex Coen families of this city and the Bob Wosters of Omaha. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bryant and children and Mr. and Mrs. Herb Baumgart and family will join the parents and grandpar ents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Heil at their Thanksgiving dinner table. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hallstrom of Avoca will be Thanksgiving guests of Cass County Judge and Mrs. Raymond Case and family at Valley View. Mr. and Mrs. Les Thimgan, Sarah and Jerry of Des Moines, la., and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Keil, Karen, Nancy , Deborah and Timothy will be Thanksgiv ing guests at the Judge J. H. Graves home here. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kelly will be Thanksgiving dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Egen berger and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Glaze will entertain at dinner for Mrs. Sar ah Cecil; Mr. and Mrs. John Glaze Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Dick Giaze; Mr. and Mrs. David Ruth erford and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rutherford. Visiting Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. George Blotzer was Mrs. George Bates of Weeping Water, a sister of Mrs. Blotzer. Mrs. Don Williams and daugh ter, Merry Jo, departed Wednes day by train for Denver, Colo., where they will visit Bill Gan semer, fiance' of Miss Williams. Mrs. Williams will also visit with a former school chum, Mr. James Allbee, nee. Frances Lil lle. Word has been received here by relatives of the death of Car los Leonhardt Sr., at his home in Thornton, Colo., where he has resided with his son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Leonhards Jr. Mrs. Carlos Leonhardt Jr., will be remembered here as the Former Rachel Wright.
