Weichel were afternoon guests Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Howe and family. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Printz and Caril and Mr. and Mrs. Cluo Printz drove to Nebraska City Thursday to visit with tforir mother Mrs. Albert Printz. She was to have had surgery Friday at Nebraska City. They went down again Sunday and report she is doing fine. G. C. They were here to attend the wedding of Marilyn Sutton. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sutton met their son-in-law, E. E. Sullivan, In Omaha Tuesday morning, he came by plane from Great Falls Mont., to be at the bedside of his father. The Suttons' daugh ter, Betty, came Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Miller were guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Knapp at Farragut, la., Sunday. The Millers' daughter Iris and children of Omaha went with them. They attended church with the Knapps. Mrs. Margaret Hinds of Wood burn, Ore. has been visiting her sister-in-law, Mrs. Grace Copple, Tuesday Mrs. Hinds and Mrs. Copple called on another sister-in-law Mrs. Ray Norris of Weep ing Water. Friday they all had dinner with the Guv Hinds fam ily of Havelock. Edith Braun entertained at a birthday dinner Friday in hon or of Mrs. Bucknell's 84th birth day. Grace Linch, Elizabeth Soflin of Lincoln and George Frolich were guests. Mr. and Mrs. Morton of Eagle have moved into their new home formerly known as the Brunkow residence. Mrs. Alice Vernoy and daugh ter Leona were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Fairfield. Leona visited at the Roelofsz home in the afternoon. Boy Scout Troop 242 held their election of officers Monday eve ning. The results are as fol lows : patrol leaders, Aaron Howe and Johnny Lemming, assistant patrol leaders, Dick Heler and Mike Zoz. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Howe. Karen and Aaron attended the dedication programs of the Mar garet Fedde Hall and the W.W Burr Hall at the Agriculture Campus Nov. 3. Miss Fedde and Mr. Burr were both present and were former teachers on the campus. La Von Howe now re sides in the Fedde Hall. She Is a sophomore. Mrs. and Mrs. H. R. Saturday morning. 12 ladies and i 5 children enioved the break fast. Bernard Dill and sons James and Bernice accompanied Lawr ence Sartin of Omaha to Craw ford and Harrision Nebr., over the weekend to hunt deer. They found the deer to be very scarce and came back late Sunday eve ning without any. Mr. and Mrs. Val Gene Ewing and girls were Sunday dinner guests with Mr. and Mrs. Ver non Ewing at Ashland. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Carnicle were Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Frahm of Ithaca and Ethel Mae Carnicle who is staying at the Frahm home.
