Audic Murphy Stars In "Fort Petticoat" As Frontier Fighter Unforgettable star of "To Hell and Back," Audie Murphy re turns to the Cass Theatre screen on Sun. Mon., and Tues., Sept. 22, 23 and 24 in a frontier ad venture ideally suited to his abilities as a soldiar, a fighting man and an actor. The film, Columbia Pictures' "The Guns of Fort Petticoat," with print by Technicolor, is a hither-to-untold saga of the Southwest, when a single man and a band of women withstood savage In dian attacks in a battle for sur vival. According to Hollywood, "The Guns of Fort Petticoat" runs the gauntlet of danger, as Mur phy leads his desperate, be seiged handful of "soldiers in skirts". Actually of course, they are pioneer women and their children, left defenseless in the savage Texas territory when their menfolk march off to the Civil War. 11 i V .
