Col. Marvin Hunt and Al lan came from Omaha Friday and .spent the niulit with Mr. and Mrs. Krank Hnnt. Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Hunt accompan ied their son to Omaha where they were dinner quests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Eck.strom. In the afternoon all went to visit Mrs. Frank Hunt's sister, Mrs. Edith Truman, of Bristol, She is a patient at the Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs. The Marvin Hunts left Monday aft ernoon for Seymour, la., where they will visit at the homo of Mr. Hunt's sister, Mr. and Mrs. Merritt Pollard and daughter. They will eo on home from there to Dayton, O. A birthday party was held Thursday afternoon for Donnie Ray Ahrens at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Earl Mur doch. Donnie received many Rifts. The guests were Mrs. John Ahrens and child'-en. Ad die Rhoden, Mrs. Harrison Liv ingston, Mrs. Joe Zaloudek and girls and Mrs. Robert Ahrens and children. A lunch of ice cream, cake, sandwiches and potatot chips were served. Mrs. Leroy Johnson of Mary land spent from Wednesday un til Saturday ovenine; with Mr. and Mrs. Norman Urwin. They took her back to her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dodson. Ne hawka, where she is visiting for a month. Mrs. Clayton Cooper and girls and Mrs. Clifford Cooper took Ricky to the doctor in Nebras ka City for a checkup. He is getting along fine. Mrs. Virgie Kaffenberper and Craig and Mrs. Emma Kaffen berger, Plattsmouth, visited Fri day evening with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Meislnger. Clifford Cooper was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Cooper and children. Sunday afternoon and evening guests were Mr. and Mrs. Louis Sack of Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Urwin were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Clifford Cooper and Ricky. Laurence Eidenmiller. Karen and Kenny vsited at the Cooper home Sunday morning. Mrs. Eid enmiller has the mumps. Clif ford Cooper visited at the Eid enmiller home Sundav evening. Mr. and Mrs. Loon Bond and Norma Jantz and Reba and Rita Faris, Glenwood, la., were Sundav dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. David Baxter and boys. They all went to Lincoln where they were .joined by Mr. and Mrs. Buster Baxter. All enjoy ed swimming then went to ter homo in the afternoon ami made iiiini A picnic sunp the evening. Other guests attending the eve ning picnic won- Mrs, Dorothy Shrader and family. Cardie Wi les, and Mr. and Mrs. Carro! Meyers and Joey of Avoea, Mr. and Mrs. Clement Condrat and Lois Kehroeder of Louisville. Mrs. Earl Murdoch. Mrs. Lee Roy Ahrens and children an Mrs. Robert Ahrens and chil dren visited Wednesday after noon with Mrs. Conant Wiles and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Meising er and family visteid Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Mei slnger, Louisville. Sundav att rnoon Mr. and Mrs. Meising er and family enjoyed going to Carter Lake in Omaha. They called on Mr. and Mrs. Frann Steppat later in the afternoon. Larry, Marilyn and Roger Hammons six nt Wednesday night with Mr. and Mrs. David Baxter, Kenny and Ronio. Ken ny celebrated his sixth birthday on Wednesday. Mrs. Dora Albin had the mis fortune to fall and break hr hip while visiting at the home of her son and family. Mr. nd Mrs. Pirl Albin. of Louisville.' She is a patient at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. Mrs. Albin is 81 years old. She had lived near Union for a long time and has been a resident I of Plattsmouth the past few years. The past few months sh" has been staving with her daugh ter and family of Weeping Wat er, Mr. and Mrs. Harlon Stock. She would love to hear from her friends while confined to the hospital. ' ' t ft.
