Resolution was passed and signed by the Chairman, accept ing the Bid of the Midland Con struction Company for grading, crushed rock and gravel for sur facing in the amount of $17, 411.95 for Project S-511 (1). Motion was made by W. F. Nolte and seconded by R. E. Norris that the wage for the Custodian be set at $250.00 per month and the clerk in the Sup erintendent's office at $210.00. Motion carried. Resolution was signed that possession of twenty-five listed documents be granted to the Nebraska State Historical So ciety, and permission granted to remove such documents to Lin coln, Nebraska, for the purpose of safe keeping. Department of Labor, that con tractors engaged in highway construction work are required to meet the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (52 Stat. 1060), as amend ed. The minimum wage paid to all labor employed on this con tract shall be indicated in the proposal form. The successful bidder will be required to furnish bond In an amount equal to 100 of his contract.
