Mrs. Miller gave the report on the annual conference held in Lincoln in April. Mrs. Carl Sutton had charge of the pledge service. Hostesses were Mrs. A. B. Walter Jordan, who passed away at the home of a daugh ter in Dakota, was a long time resident of the Alvo community and his body was brought to Al vo for burial.
