How sin and suffering are destroyed through spiritual understanding of Christ, Truth, will be explained at Christian Science services Sunday. Scriptural readings in the Lesson-Sermon entitled "Ever lasting Punishment" will include the following from Lamenta tions (3:39-41): "Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord. Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens." Correlative selections to be read from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy include the following (391:13): "It Is error to suffer for aught but your own sins. Christ, or Truth, will destroy all other supposed suf fering, and real suffering for your own sins will cease in pro portion as the sin ceases." Bagdad allies hail U. S. move to tighten ties.
