Mr. and Mrs.Duane Ault and children, Danny and Debbie of Denver, Colo, spent the weekend with Mrs. Ault's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Fleischmann of Lin coln were Saturday evening guests at the Henry Davis home. The Triple B 4-H Club met Saturday, February 9th, at the Forrest Engelkemeier home. All members answered roll call by telling the weight of their cal ves. Frank and Ralph Puis pre sented a demonstration on "A Calf's Make-up Kit". The dem onstration provided the discus sion topic. March 1st the club will go roller skating in Ash land. April 6, will be ear-tagging day. Rope halters wil be made at the next meeting, March 8, at the home of Robert Hike. Ralph Puis News Reporter. After dinner they all went , out to the Donald Tlustos farm, and spent the rest of the day. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Leroy of Manley. and the - groom is the son of Mrs. Mildred Kritenbrink of Louis ille. Ia. He has been manager of the Waterloo office of the com pany. Mr. Amelang has been in the consumer credit field since 1946 after serving in World War H. He came to Consolidated Credit in Waterloo in 1953, dur ing which they have moved into new, larger and more modern quarters. Intangible Property wil I be assessed at 100 Value. An assessor will call at the door of all persons in the County, with the exception of Plattsmouth City. Tax payers living in Plattsmouth City will file their return in the office of the County Assessor. A schedule will be mailed to you upon request. Valuation books and percentage tables approved by the State Tax Commissioner's office are used in assess ing. Refrigerators and Home Freezers will be valued ac cording to age and per cubic foot. Gas and electric ranges according to age and size. Televisions by age and model. The oath on the schedule must be signed before an assessor, notary public, or some other person authoriz ed by law to take acknowledgments. All questions on the back of the schedule must be answered. An assessor will be sent to anyone unable to come to the office. PLEASE take care of your assessment as soon as possible. Clara Olson County Assessor Blue and Gold Banquet ( The Cub Scout's Blue and Gold Banquet was held Friday evening, Feb. 15 at the Legion Hall. A delicious cafeteria sup per was served at 6:30 to the Cub Scouts and their parents. Minutes of the previous meeting were read. The January awards were giv en out as they were too late for the last meeting. The fol lowing awards were presented for February: Richard Shyrock, one silver arrow under lion; assistant dinner; Larry Meising er.two year, pin; Terry Stein kamp, one gold arrow under denner strip; Keith Shyrock, bobcat pin; Gary Read, three year pin; Gail Hemiings, bear badge, one silver and one gold arrow; Harold Fleck, two silver arrows under bear. Flags were retired by Den 4. Harvey Koop showed pictures taken on his trip last fall and of the Easter Egg Hunt in the Park for the past two years. This was enjoyed by all.
