The . ladies of the Eastern Star Kensington held their meet ing Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Jeane Leesly and Mrs. Ruth Pershing were the hostesses. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Howard drove to Louisville Sunday and picked up Mr. and Mrs. Austin Finnley, then drove to Brock and spent the rest of the day with- , Mr. " and Mrs. Leslie Watcke. ' Mrs. Edith Schroeder enter tained the ladies of the Twin Tables Card Club at her home Thursday - afternoon. - Manse Elrod and sister, Mrs. Francis Goff of Ashland and Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Gustofson were supper guests at the home of Curtis Gustofson Sunday.. The ladies of the American Legion Auxiliary served the din ner ; for the members of the Farmers Union Co-op Associa tion at the Legion Hall Tuesday which is an annual affair. There were a hundred and nineteen dinners served. Mrs. June Kyles and Mrs. Edith Wallace will leave Wed nesday evening for Omaha where they will visit Dr. and Mrs. Leonard Wallace and Thursday will leave for Kansas City to spend some time at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Urban Kyles. Mrs. Minnie Marolf was host ess to the ladies of the H. W. A. Card Club at her home Thurs day afternoon. Mrs. June Kyles was a guest.
