Armstrong The Junior Fairlanders Ex tension Club will meet Tuesday Jan. 15 at the home of Mrs. Roy Long near Murdock. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mc Bride and Gary Lee of Spring field and Pfc. and Mrs. Charles Jenkins were Saturday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Buell and Ray. Pfc. Jenkins is with the armed forces and sta tioned in Germany. He was called home before Chistmas by the death of his mother, Mrs. Donivan Jenkins near Greenwood. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mick of Lincoln enter tained a group of relatives at dinner. Their guests were Pfc. and Mrs.' Jenkins and Teresa, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Allen and Mr. and Mrs. Buell and Ray. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Laughlin Mrs. Victor Miller and Mrs. A. D. Bachman attended a state grange meeting for leaders at the Lincoln Hotel, Lincoln, last Wednesday. Kathy and Cindy Bornman came down from Omaha on the bus Saturday and spent the night with their gandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bornman. Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Bornman observed their 43rd wedding an niversary at their home. Their sons, Mr. and Mrs. Bennett Bornman and Judy of Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. George Bornman, Jr., and family, and daughter, Mrs. Darold Miller and Mr. Mil ler of Ceresco took cakes and ice cream to their parents home to help them celebrate. Bachman and together they watched the Rose Parade at Pasadena, Calif., on TV. Mr. and Mrs. Bachman's grandson, Jim Ward, son of Mrs. Allan Pearce of San Deigo, played m the Bonhaman Brothers band that was in the parade. This is thefourth year for Jim to be in the band.
