Earl Ben nett's brotherin-law, Mr. Carl Ramsey Recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bennett were Mr. and Mrs. James Kirk of Aurora, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stohlman of Louisville. Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Anna Hardnock were Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Mickel, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mickel and daughter, Susie. Afternoon guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nickel and baby of Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Hard nock and Patty returned home Wednesday from Minneapolis, Minn., where they took Patty for a check-up. They have to take her back in February for surgery. Mrs. Anna Hardnock kept Patty Hardnock Monday while her parents were in Lincoln. Mrs. Nancy Snavely returned home Friday from Sterling, 111., after spending a couple of. weeks with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Klyver of Lincoln and Mr: and Mrs. Elmer Klyver were Sunday afternoon visitors of Mrs. Ma belle Winn and Ralph. Mrs. Don Elliott and children Mrs. Carl Winget and children spent Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs; Charles Roelfsz, wrhile Mr. Elliott and Mr. Win get went pheasant hunting. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Roelfsz visit ed Mr. Roelfsz sister, Mrs. Amanda Snavely. Sunday eve ning. Mrs. Gertie Nickel is very ill at her home and under the doc tors care. Glendate Briefs: Stranger is Real Friend Mrs. Tom Tennant Tel. 4252 Mr. and Mrs. Lester Tennant's car caught fire Thursday after noon on their way to town. Mr, and Mrs. Carl Lang, Mr. and Mrs Lloyd Tennant were Sunday visitors at the Lester Tennants. Both are from Omaha.: Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sutton and son "of Omaha visited Sun day at the Elmer Sprieck home and with other relatives. Mrs. Mable Engelkemeier and daughter, Arlene, of Plattsmout Luella Meisinger, Mrs. Elvin Davis, visited at the George and Elmer Stoehr home Thurs day. Friday afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kaffen berger, Henry Kaffenberger and son, Plattsmouth, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sprieck and Mrs. Frank Salburg. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Group drove to Wakefield and Mrs. Mable Engelkemeier were Sun day visitors at the George and Elmer Stoehr home. Arnold Tennant of Omaha visited at the Tom Tennant home Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Marion Biggs, Bryan and Mary drove to Wymore to spend a weekend with Mrs. Biggs' mother. Larry Schroeder was in Louis ville Sunday morning. He at tended high school here and is now studying for the ministry at Cotner college, of the Chris tian church. He spent the week end visiting his parents on the farm. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Remus of Welfleet visited Sunday to Thursday with Mrs. Bessie Core and her father, Frank Gadaway, who celebrated his 89th birth day, Mrs. Remus and Mrs. Core are sisters. On Thursday Mrs. Core's niece, Mr. and Mrs. Wil cox of Oconto, were overnight guests at the Core home. Francis Ritter, Sr., is staying at the John Ritter home. Both eyes are bad and he expects to have surgery at an Omaha hospital this week. Mr. and Mrs. Errett Wiles of Waterloo were in town Thurs day and Mrs. ,Wiles attended the Glendale club. Mrs. Melvin Reed, Mona and Rita, Mrs. Tom Tennant, took Mrs. Reams home Tuesday and enjoyed dinner with her in her trailer home. Other guests were Mrs. Jim Raymond and Mrs. J. Frary and Billie. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bord man, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Johnson and Vicki were dinner guests at the Elmer Johnson home. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Johnson are moving to Sioux City.
