Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Reed arid Rita visited Sunday afternoon in Douglas, also called at the M. K. Schroeder home in Syra cuse. Mrs. J. R. May field returned home Sunday after leaving the hospital, he spent several days writh a sister in Omaha. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Parks and Linda, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lange cisited Sunday at the Lester Ten nant home. Mr. and Mrs. Erret Wiles called at the Georga Bain home Sunday evening. Dick Lange and some friends of Omaha called at the Les Ten nant home Saturday. Mrs. Elmer Johnson called at the Ervin Albert home Thurs day afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Albert and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Strikes of Omaha were dinner guests at the Ray Parcell home in Elmwood Sunday. Return Home Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wagoner arrived home Thursday from a visit to Seattle. They visited their daughter, Mr. and .Mrs. Douglas Wefendorffer and fam ily. Among other things of in terest they took the Boat trip to British Columbia and other interesting places. Mr. and Mrs. John Van Vliet and sons of Lincoln were supper guests at the Elmer Johnson heme Monday evening. Sunday evening visitors at the Johnson heme were Mr. and Mrs. Ber nard Johnson and Vicki of Weeping Water. Sunday of last week Mr. and Mrs. Dayton Hennings and fam ily called at the Sam Fulton home in Omaha and also called at the Arnburst home. Mrs. An na Heil is staying to care for the home while Mrs. Arnfurst is in the hospital. Mrs. Luella Meisinger spent several days in Omaha with Mrs. Margaret Schroeder to be with her sister, Mrs. Stoehr at the Doctor's Hospital. Charles Hennings spent the weekend at the P. G. Hennings heme and attended the Schroe-der-Wegener wedding before re tiring to the Glen Terryberry home where he works. Susan Livingston spent Sun day afternoon with Shirley Hen nings. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Stoehr and George Stoehr visited Mrs. Stoehr Sunday evening. He is getting along very well and sets up a little each day but the outcome of the eye operation is not known as yet. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Johnson and Vicki were supper guests at the Elmer Johnson home Sunday. Mrs. Velma Younquist, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Tennant Visited! Friday at the M. K. Schroeder home in Syracuse.
